Okay, I need to tell someone besides my mom and J because I am just too freakin excited!
I am officially a size 8 in pants and I bought 2 shirts in a small today!!! I never thought I would see this day, ever. I mean it's a huge difference since I started a 24/26 and 2x. I think it's a little more exciting because I bought a pair of red skinny jeans that I like to call my "hot pants" because they're red lol. Okay rant over. Thank you for listening to my excitement because I thought putting on FB for the world to see would be too much.

Re: Squeeee!!!
Hello. I've waited here for you. Everlong<3<br>
That, my love, is very deserving of some AWing! :::slaps Jaimie on her tiny asss:::
I want red jeans! And I want to wear them with a cobalt blue top. Or a black and white polka dot top if I'm feeling retro. Where did you get them??
Canon 50D, Canon 50mm f/1.4, Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8, Speedlite 430EX II
Thank you ladies
Margie this is something I've been debating since yesterday. I tried googling and the majority of what I found is to wear them with a neutral so it doesn't look like I'm trying to get attention or trying too hard. I tried googling inspiration pics as well, and I didn't find too much. I got them from Kohls, Lauren Conrads line.

oh man, look what you started!!! That's a great accomplishment!!
Cool, thanks!
And from my point-of-view, white would be too big a contrast and boring, same for black. I don't like beige or tan tops in the summer unless paired with a printed bottom to offer some balance or a top with some kind of texture to it so you don't look naked. I may be in the minority but I also feel like with a neutral top it's all "LOOK AT MY PANTS! THEY'RE RED! YOU SEE MY FUUCKING PAAAAAAAAANTS? RED PANTS, B!TCH. RED. OKAY????" IMO, that's when it looks like someone's trying to hard.
Also, I'm okay with wearing bold colors together so long as the look is clean and uncluttered. With bright pants and a bright top, I'd wear minimal accessories unless I had a great piece that pulled everything together somehow. If I was going to go the black and white route, I'd feel free to do it up a little more.
ETA: If you wear the pants at night, I think a black top would be okay because you can spice it up a bit with shoes, etc. I forget that people go out a night. HA
I will buy red pants this week. Mark my words. LOL.
Congrats!!! what an awesome achievement!!!
P.S. - I agree cobalt blue top would look awesome like those flip flops I posted on my FB
and then you will post a picture of your sexy self all decked out!
Char- I totally agree, those flip-flops are a great color with red. Where is there a Bloomies outlet?

Can we have a GTG at the Bergen Town Center? Bloomies outlet, Off Fifth, Nordstrom Rack, Neiman outlet, Century 21 and it's across the street from Chipotle. Oh and a little thing called no tax on clothes.
I love it there. And Bobby's Burger Palace. YUM.
