How to get carpet cleaner residue out of Berber carpet?
The carpet cleaner we bought earlier this week is a piece of junk and
decided that it wouldn't suck the water up when I went to rinse the
carpet, and now my feet are covered with a waxy residue when I go in the
room. My son's new furniture was delivered this weekend, but I can't put it
in the room until I feel like the carpet is actually clean. Any home
remedies, or am I going to have to bite the bullet and get it
professionally cleaned? I have heard to use a vinegar solution or baking
soda, but wanted to see if anyone had any personal experience with this
problem.Thanks!
I HAVE CHILDREN.
Re: How to get carpet cleaner residue out of Berber carpet?
I agree. The best thing you can do is call a professional. Hot water extraction. The problem with the cleaning residue is that if you don't get it COMPLETELY out of your carpet-it will make your carpet look worse. It attracts dirt and soil and can make your carpet soil quicker.
