TTC Check In!

It's been a while, so let's see where everyone is at!

Where are you in your cycle? (waiting to O, 2WW, etc)

Did you do anything different this cycle?

Any phantom symptoms?

Anyone need help with a chart stalk or have any questions? Hopefully we can all help each other out here :)

Re: TTC Check In!

  • Where are you in your cycle? (waiting to O, 2WW, etc) I am in the 2WW!! This is extra exciting because I believe this is the first month I have O'ed since December!Did you do anything different this cycle? I O'ed, so that helps. Other than that we aren't trying anything. Any phantom symptoms? Yes! I felt bloated yesterday and I've been having light cramping on and off. I also had the most vivid dreams a couple nights ago. They were so real I felt like I was in them and actually felt the emotion of them. It was weird. Anyone need help with a chart stalk or have any question?

  • Where are you in your cycle? (waiting to O, 2WW, etc) Waiting for AF period!

Did you do anything different this cycle? I started progesterone on Sunday night to induce a period...so by the weekend she should be here in full force and then I can get down to business!

    Any phantom symptoms? N/A

Anyone need help with a chart stalk or have any question? No...but I may in a few weeks :)

Any phantom symptoms? I've been pretty nauseous lately, very tired, and lots of severe cramping

B to the what now?  Holy cow, congrats!! Party!!! Way to slip that in there...

My (less exciting) update: AF came last week, right on time. Which was surprising considering that as you all know I just had the most stressful month of my life, plus most people are a little late the first cycle after IVF.

The problem is I needed her to show up a couple days later. I am doing a frozen embryo transfer this cycle and the lab at my fertility doctor is closed for a few weeks. I'm doing a natural cycle, meaning I will not be manipulated by any drugs (yay!). They will simply monitor me to see when I ovulate and then do the transfer a week later. But, if I ovulate when I normally do my transfer would be around 7/26... and with the lab closure the first transfer date is 7/27. Figures. So, I am back on BCPs for a week to push out the transfer date. Transfer should be around 8/4!

Where are you in your cycle? (waiting to O, 2WW, etc): Waiting to O

Did you do anything different this cycle? Not yet but on the 19th I go to my DR. & have a blood sample taken so she can check my progesterone levels & see if she thinks I'm acctually ovulating & then on the 2nd of August I go to have an ultrasound done to see if my reproductive organs look like they're in good shape. After that, if everything looks good she wants me to go on Clomid. I'll also buy a OPK today or tomorrow to try to get a jump on things.

    Any phantom symptoms? No.

Anyone need help with a chart stalk or have any questions? Hopefully we can all help each other out here :)

Holy crap Mel!! How do you feel about this possibility? Excited? Overwhelmed by how quickly it (may) have happened?

I feel super excited for you!!!

I'm excited/nervous about it!  I told DH he has supersperm!  I really didn't expect it to happen so soon because they say the normal couple tries for 3-4 months or something like that.

Part of me feels bad because Julie, Dani, Lori, and Liz have been trying forever....just have to send lots of TTC vibes their way!

    @Everyone else:  Thanks!

You are not allowed to feel bad. I won't let you! I think we all know it happens differently for each couple, but it doesn't mean we can't be super excited for you in the mean time!

Besides, I'll be sipping extra margaritas in New York and you can't have any!

I know I'm super jealous! I'll have to have a virgin one just to say I sipped margaritas with some of the best ladies on the planet!

We are getting together with friends next week for margaritas and I most likely won't be able to have any Crying

  • Mel, that has been one of the hardest things for me to give up (especially when we have been on vacation and DH orders all these drinks). Thankfully, I have stayed busy and when we do go out I order a virgin drink to satisfy the craving. Now the next hard part is to make sure after the baby is born to plan around feeding times....Football season is going to interesting this year.

Ditto this!!!  Besides, it's kinda nice to be on a break right now.  Hopefully when September rolls around and the Dr runs the tests he wants we should be good to go.  I also think part of our problem was that I O later than I orignally thought.
