A .png is just a graphic file. It should open in any common image application (Paint, Gimp, MS Picture Manager, etc).

Do we get to guess what it is? My money is on a picture of someone with a bottle in hand and a cig in the other.

    I'm with you.

I'm sure that's what it is! I've tried to open it on one of those and it won't :-(

Are you getting an error? They might have changed the extension when/after saving it.

  • I believe people who say boys are easier. Abby is slamming doors. Isn't she a little young for that? I just emailed DH that I am going to remove the doors from their hinges and he suggested instead that we run a low electrical current through them.

    **No worries. He is joking.

    No he isn't. :)

My kids are so enthralled with our cleaning lady it's ridiculous. They keep sneaking upstairs just to watch her work.

Is she cleaning your house with vinegar?  Because that is what she used on mine the last two times even though we have a crap ton of cleaning stuff.  I am hiding it before she comes on Monday.

She has never used vinegar here.  Good to know to keep it hidden though!  I just wish she would empty the canister on the Dyson.  My whole house can not be done on one canister.  I have showed her how to do it a million times.

I had a girl on my team whose mother took the hinges off her door when she was 4 or 5 and never put them back on. She said she'd be damned if her kid slamed a door again.

Actually, she doesn't empty mine either but I only have carpet upstairs. I just make Scott do it though : P

Same here.  No vinegar.  And ditto 100% on the Dyson.  I know mine can be done in one trip, but if I don't remember to empty it before she comes, then I have to dump it and vac the house again.

So now I know she clearly hates me.  She bleaches my clothes, rugs and makes my house smell like an easter egg?  Same here for the Dyson, but we don't have much carpet.

Almond - T&P for you guys.  Keep us posted.

Crap-I didn't check the canister before she started today.  With Bailey gone that should definitely help with the speed at which the canister fills.  We may be able to get by with one canister, but I am not sure.

Almond-good throughts are out for you and C!

That's part of my pre-Lucy routine. That and to be sure I have picked up all towels and such the morning of and throw them in the washer.  I had a small bleach incident once on a towel and just do that out of routine now.

  • so....saw the pics.

screen shot of girl taking pics of her self on cell phone and posting to her FB page.

one in the absolute tiniest bikini you've ever seen.

the other in daisy dukes and a shirt with the arms cut off and cut  halfway on to the boobs(and no bra).

    joy.

My little sister was about Abby's age when she learned the fine art of the door slam.  By 3, she had mastered the pocket door slam resulting in it falling off its track and tramping her or others into rooms.   It didn't matter if it was the door to her room, the bathroom, our parents room, she slammed it.  We would have needed to remove every door in the house.

i think we have the same skin.  i look like i'm growing those little frankenstein nodes on either side of my neck, just below the ear.  it's got to have something to do with the weather.  it's pretty ridiculous!

ALMOND... oh my gosh, i hope everything turns out ok.  That poor baby's body is just fighting so hard.  i had a similar incident when i was 4, with tonsilitis (fever so high i convulsed).  while i'm sure it was harrowing for my parents, all i remember is the neat nightgown they had me wear with clowns on it, and that they gave me ice with sugar to eat.  hopefully your little munchkin will be able to get the fever under control and be back to his good old normal self soon.

It has been six years today since I got my DBA.  I never pictured this as my life, I certainly thought it would be very different than it is, but wow.  I can't believe I have done this, been successful, and made a name for myself.  *tears*

Cindy... your DH looks like a different person!  I cannot believe it.  I don't know why this didn't occur to me sooner (I guess I was just looking at you and the girls...lol, the pretty ladies).  It is incredibly inspiring to look at the change he has made.  Please tell him I mentioned it!

  • Almond, praying for you and sweet C.  Please, please keep us updated.

I have been using the Oil Cleansing Method for a few weeks now and I've noticed a HUGE improvement in my breakouts, even hormonal ones right before AF.  Now if I could figure out what to do about my chest and back with all my sweating I would be good to go.

Almond - Prayers that everything is ok!

Star - Now that you've seen the pic what do you do?  Do you even address it?

  • Sorry i didn't update last night.  We got home late.

When we got there the nurse was skeptical his temp had gone that high.  We assured her that it had and were taken back pretty quickly.  They did a rectal temp and he was still at 105.  Did all vitals and said his ears looked really bad.  After that he got Tylenol suppositories because he wouldn't take anything orally.  Chuck cringed at the thought, but Cam didn't seem to mind too much.  A little angry birds keeps even the sickest kicks occupied :-)

Checked his temp an hour later still at 104.  Urgh.  Then they gave him a dose of motrin (only comes orally.)  I say they gave him.  they tried to give it to him.  Even the nurses with "tricks" came in and had a really hard time.  I think he might have gotten half of the motrin dose down.

Another hour later and the fever was down to 101.  We were told if it didn't get below 100 in the next 2 hours they'd hook up and IV.  Cold compresses and cold water and angry birds did the trick.  4 hours later we were home with lots of scripts and instructions to head back immediately if he gets to 104 again.

Last night was okay.  We were able to give him the Tylenol suppositories at home and he slept pretty well.  Still a bit of a fever but nothing to bad so far.  Now if we can get him to take the antibiotics.  I may have to strap him down.
