Re: AW Thursday
I've had a mini vacation this week and I love it.
DH, DD and I biked to our downtown and it is way more accessible than I thought and now it's my favorite thing to do! Exercise and family!!!!
We finally decided to just replace the driveway, and make it larger, as well as the sidewalks, porch and garage floors. It sucks to spend that much cash on that, but it needs to be done.
BR: DS gets on all fours and rocks back and forth!!! He can get around by going backwards and rolling around, but I am ready for him to crawl.
This is hardly AW-worthy, but it made me really happy.
I got a pair of $130 jeans for $10.82 at the Saks outlet after a sale, two coupons and, I think, a fluke at the register.

The inspection on our house went well and the buyer is ready to move forward and close next month!
DS started crawling on Monday and it's been so much fun watching him move around and explore. Fun for now at least haha...

Slightly lame, but I took the cutest picture of DD yesterday. She usually stops smiling as soon as I bring out the camera, but yesterday she was being very cute for the camera and I snapped this gem of her.

DH and I booked our last pre-baby trip last night! We are going to visit friends in Phoenix over our two-year anniversary in October - I'm soo excited because neither of us have ever been.
In addition - we got both of our (non-stop) plane tickets for $80 total. Thank you frequent flyer miles and vouchers from Delta!

My AW is that DH has been home for just over 2 weeks, so it's been good having him home, being a family, we've done walks & bike rides. He leaves Sun. night for a 1 week job in Charlotte, NC, then probably back to Cincy.
On a kid note, I'm just loving watching DS, it's that cute age where they really start to show a personality. I love watching him & DD interact & play, they just love each other! And I'm waiting for him to walk, I'm sure it's going to be soon.

Today is my Friday, H and I are driving to Chicago to visit our best friend who lives in downtown. We are going to Cubs game Saturday and then bar hopping.

Lot's AWs from everyone - so many good things going on!
Mine - we were approved to close on our house! So hopefully by Monday we will be homeowners! And we found out that the sellers opted not to take the 30 days occupancy, so we can move in right away!
I find strangers here in MI to be nicer than anywhere I've been so far. I'm greeted with smiles and hellos frequently. And when I stop at a random parking lot to ask if someone knows where a place is, they help.
Today I stopped to ask a random guy coming out of a store where the dmv was. He didn't know but he took the time to look it up on his phone and gave me very detailed directions. (I don't have this function on my phone, but I wish I did. I had an address but couldn't find it and then found it was closed anyhow- so he helped me get the right place).
Our cars are sporting some new 'bling' officially. (aka: MI license plates) Next on the list will be my license, maybe next week.
We're going to look at 2-3 houses tonight!!!!!!! Our top three choices of 15 houses we sent our realtor earlier this week. I'm excited.
This weekend we're going to a "Pigapalooza". My BIL/SIL are hosting a pig roast- hawiian style- cooked in the ground and all. I'll be honest, it freaks me out a bit and I probably won't eat the pig
