What is your favorite summer food(s)?
Re: QOTD
Potato Salad & Corn on the Cob. I don't eat potato salad in the winter, but come summer, it's a staple at each bbq. American style for me.
How could I forget ice cream, esp. since DH bought 3 carts of Edy's last night. He had to try the S'Mores one.
Of course ice cream is my favorite all year round!

Anything that can be grilled.
ETA: I add to this, grilled pizza. Specifically, Bobby Flay's recipe. It is seriously one of my favorite things to eat.

This exactly!
Anything grilled/bbq'd. I eat hamburgers and stuff year round - but it just tastes so good right off the grill!
I love all the fresh fruits and veggies too from the Farmer's Markets - they just taste so good to me!
Ice cream is a must too - but I eat that year round
strawberries, watermelon, corn on the cob, bomb pops, and anything on the grill!
I also love summer drinks - Miller chill, mike's hard lemonade, blue moon, summer shandy. I don't miss them or anything, I swear..... lol. There's always next summer

Taking a break from being poked and prodded
Me too. This is the only thing that is exclusive to summer for us (other than farmer's market veggies). DH will even grill in the snow sometimes during the winter.
It really is! It's one of my small handful of recipes I have that are really really good. My brother first made it for us a couple years ago and he called it his super specialty, then I googled and found the recipe, haha.
Please elaborate. I've never heard of this, and I'm intrigued...

Corn on the cob, hands down, I would make them with every meal if I could.
Another one is fresh cucumbers from the garden, my mom just gave me 2 last night! So good!!!
Any kind of green salad- lately anything with cherries, cranberries, or raisins, and blue cheese crumbles.
ICED TEA! I only drink it in the summer and I have been going through it like crazy. I think I need to go make some more. I'd really like SUN TEA, but I dont have a good container to brew it in
Getting back to it- my diet and exercise blog
Losing it...Without Losing it
Probably just BBQ food in general, so hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob...
Darn it, now I'm hungry.
