Re: OL Tuesday
Dear Tiffany,
I also have the same work environment! It is 100% smoke free here and I'm so thrilled. When I first started working here it wasn't and my cubie smoked. She would leave off & on all day to go smoke and would come back reaking. GROSS!
~Thankful to work for a non-smoking environment company Nestie
Dear Water Drinkers,
I do my very best to get in a least 48-64 oz daily. I have my cup of coffee in the morning and water the rest of the day. Weekends tend to be my downfall though. I struggle getting in enough water bc we are on the go most of the weekend. By Monday morning, I'm downing the H2O super fast! I can't imagine not having my daily dose of water.
~Another avid water drinker
Me too, except I pour mine over ice and drink it with a straw (we have an ice machine here, luckily). It goes super fast. If I ever don't have my cup then I drink far less.
Dear Teresa Giudice,
You wear me out, but you have some great recipes in your cookbooks. I made the Gorgeous Garlic Shrimp last night and it rocked! Can't wait to try the others.

Dear Freezer Pops,
You are turning into one of my favorite summer treats!

Dear Amazon purchase,
I am both excited and nervous for your arrival. I hope I can figure you out and you yield positive results.

I second this. Also, if I want a drink while I'm driving I don't worry about spilling on myself. I have several water bottles with really large openings and I always imagine it spilling on me if I take a drink while driving.
I have wondered about her cookbook. Good to know.
What are these freezer pops of which you speak?
You got this, I know it.

Just do it!
I used to be the same way but I've become a lot better with doing it out of a cup. I have the huge sized cup from Subway that I'll attempt to drink 3 of every day and now that I've added a straw, it's much easier.
I highly doubt I get 64 ounces every day (I know I get off track in the weekend) but I do try to get as much as I can and if I'm drinking something, it's usually water. I rarely drink cokes.

Leslie- I have only tried that one recipe so far. (I got that one out of the first cook book.) My library doesn't have her newest cookbook in circulation yet.
Oh and these are the Freezer Pops I speak of....
Dear Tiffany,
I am jealous of the smoke free environment. I dont sit next to anyone who smokes and there are only 3 on my team out of 60 so I can deal but its worse in the winter to me.
Dear water drinkers,
I drink one 4 oz cup of coffee every morning and then I carry a 50oz bottle around with me all day. I typically drink 3-4 of these a day, usually closer to 3 on non workout days. I set goals for myself I know I need to have half the bottle gone by 8, the first one gone by 10, the next one by 2 and the next one by 6 and then everything after that is just a bonus. If it is 10:15 and I notice I am behind I will sit at my desk and drink until I am caught up. I get headaches and get so tired when I slack on my water consumption.
Dear Nesties-
So I just had my lunch and part of my lunch were some red grapes and some cucumber slices. I just bought the grapes and the cucumber on Sunday. They (grapes and cucumber) were both TERRIBLE.
I usually just try to go to one store for groceries (Walmart), but would be willing to shop around for good produce.
Where do you find the best produce?
Dear friends,
I am glad to know I'm not the only person who is very weird about what glass I drink out of, and that it dramatically affects the amount of water I can drink. Nice to know there are others out there who are as picky as me

Central Market. Whole Foods is second. And third (and closest to me) would be the Kroger in Heath.
Luckily, my Albertson's has been doing pretty well lately in the fruit and produce department (although it can be hit or miss). About a month ago, I went to my Wal-mart to grocery shop which I hadn't done in a long time. The produce was horrible--I could tell just by looking at it. I was appalled. I vowed to never step in Wal-Mart again and I haven't been back.

Thanks for this. I was telling Bill about her cookbook last night and how everything looked good at the photo shoot. We may be buying another cookbook, even though we need another one of those like a hole in the head.
I used to do this too.. but then I started counting calories, and realized just how many I was drinking - and that I could use them on yummier stuff. So, I'm down to 1 a day, occasionally 2, and every once in a while, none
I have pretty much cut out all sodas. I had one last week but it was Diet Sprite. I had one the week before but it was Caffeine Free Diet Coke. Before that, it had probably been at least three weeks. I'm getting my caffeine in very limited quantities from iced tea once a day.
I am bummed to hear this about Sprouts produce. One is about to open really close to my house and I was excited! Maybe it will be better?
Other than Central Market and other specialty type places, I find I have always had good luck with Target produce. You wouldn't think so, I know, but it's consistently good! My Kroger and Tom Thumb, even Market Street are VERY hit and miss.
My options are Kroger, Albertson's and Wal-Mart so I usually go with Albertson's as it is right down the road from us. Occasionally I'll go to a mom and pop meat store because they had very decent produce for the cheap but the last time I went there, it was just gross.
Oh another option is Sam's. I can get an extremely large container of spinach for $3.98 among other things and it's all been decent.
My step brother was drinking a 12 pack a day a few years ago and he switched to water and dropped about 20 pounds.
12 cokes a day? Oh.Em.Gee. That's like... 1680 calories per day. That's more calories than I eat IN FOOD in an entire day usually.
Kroger Marketplace in Alliance Town Center. Oddest Kroger ever with the jewelry store and all, but good produce. Also Central Market for a further drive.
I am very thankful to both my iphone and Five Star Ford's wireless right now. Spending 4 hours at the car dealership sucks no matter how well prepared you are.
