Jasper
Jace
Julian
Jensen
Perhaps "Jesus?"
Jasper - I do not think Casper... I think Jasper (Jax) from soaps and boy yes he was strong enough.
I love the name but could not get H to see it.
I think Julian is also strong enough. It does not ring girly or less masculine to me.
And sorry should have read the other post before commenting as I see some of these were already there.
I like both over Jude, Joah and Jett. Just my two cents
I think the problem is that Jack is REALLY strong, so coming up with something equally as strong is next to impossible. I think you'd almost have to go with something like James in order to match it, or not use a J name.
All that aside, I don't think of Casper when I hear Jasper.

Jasper = Twilight to me. Not a fan though.
Julian always rings a little fem to me. Far too close to Julie.
I like Justin or Joey.
Agree totally! I like Justin too.
What about Joss?
Go with Eli! He won't feel that left out!
My H has a different starting letter name than both his brothers he still makes comments about it. Plus his first name is one of his brothers middle name. He always gives his parents crap that they didn't even take time to think about it.
BIL is Jacob and goes by "Jake."
only if you pronounce it the hispanic way.
Well, Jasper's definitely out if it's in Twilight. N, I feel the same about Julian, sadly.
I like Justin, but it's H's cousin's (whom we're pretty close to) name - the one who uses "Judd" on facebook. And Joey/Joe is H's brother.
I'm totally appreciating all the suggestions, though!
I had forgotten about Joss! I did mention it to H a while back and he wasn't too excited about it, but perhaps I'll bring it up again.
And yes, the whole "J" thing is what makes this so difficult. We may end up scrapping it, who knows.
Have we ruled out Jim-Bob?
I'm at a loss for names now....still leaning towards Joah/Jonah/Jude...I do not think about whales either...I think of Jonah from Sleepless in Seattle...
Here is another thought since this name thing has been on my mind all day....
The 3 of you have strong "common" names... will naming the 4th something common really be that BIG of a deal or look at it another way... will naming the 4th something NON common be that big of a deal.
For instance...
Mark, Mary, Matt and Mike (all common)
Mark, Mary, Matt and Miles (all common but last)
Sorry if these have been suggested in the other post I'm feeling too lazy to read. Jagger lol,
Jameson
Jaren, Jaron
I'll take what you're smokin'!
SUM - You make good points, not sure if they'll sway me, but good nonetheless. And I'm glad this is buggin' someone else! jk.
Cheezus - Your avatar is crackin' me up!
For some reason I picture you with a kid named Jagger.
What about Jed? Was Josiah talked about?
don't know if its been offered up yet but i love jameson......jay for short.
one of my college friends i don't see often actually used it when it used to be my favorite name although she didn't know it was my fave. (my dad is james, i am jaima, wanted to go with jameson) but not so sure anymore since she named hers that....
Yeah, but I know a guy...
I meant to ask in my post in the other thread if you had an aversion to Jonah. I really like that name and I think it's strong, biblical and more classic than its 'n'-missing counterpart.
Have you consulted the Duggar's blog for inspiration?
What about Jesse? I really like it for a boy.
