Re: Say anything... again!
Damnation. I just tossed an old bottle on Sunday that had a lower dose because it was about to expire. I should have held onto it. I *have* to get them today or I will be dead on my feet tomorrow.
Yeah I held onto it because I've done this before. Live and learn. But I called M to go pick mine up this afternoon so I won't have to be biting tiny pills in half first thing tomorrow morning.
It's like they think she suddenly lives there when they are that age. I hope you told Nana - it will make her feel so good to know how much she is missed.
ETA
Duchess - I'm so sorry about your sister. I'd be insane over that. My little sister's birth mom is in contact with her on FB and after the neglect and abuse my sister suffered as an infant (which caused her mental retardation) it is all I can do to keep crazymichelle locked up and not go off on that selfish betch. That will only hurt my sister but it's making me insane. Your sis and family (and you) are in my prayers!
HP - so sorry about the BFNs. Praying for an embryo for you ASAP.
Star & M&M - I'm the same way. M's dresses generally go to her knees and she wears 1 pieces almost 100% of the time (she had a 2 piece last year during potty training for practical purposes).
Kasey - congratulations on the reduction. I hope you have a going away party for your boobs - that would be hilarious. I'm just a little bummed that I missed a motorboat opportunity while I had one. :-P (Carebear, if you read this I still crack up when I think about you writing that).

PPPPBBBBBTTT!!!
I didn't get a 2 piece until 8th grade, and it wasn't even a bikini style - it was more like a sports bra top with brief bottoms. I got a bikini my Sophomore year in HS - it was such a big deal! lol. And I used that same swimsuit the rest of high school. Now, i have like 10 bathing suits in my drawer - and I never seem to feel like wearing any of them.
I only meant $40 for the pee test at the dr, my medicine is much more don't worry. Just found out being monitored on clomid means it's $750 a cycle to start, more for the add on stuff. insurance said they covered it (everything but insemination) but when we called it was, oops, we don't cover ovulation induction either.
My insurance did that to me too, it sucked. They told me they covered everything except IUI, they told the billing girl at my Dr's office that it was all covered. Three cycles later they called me up: "We don't cover infertility treatment you owe us $$$$$" I almost had a heart attack and died on the spot. I'm sorry. Infertility sucks but it's so much worse when you have to spend a gazillion dollars on it too.

Thanks for all the good thoughts. My sister now has my nieces but not her son. He wouldn't let her have all 3 kids at once, in case she tried to run off with them. You know, like he did.
Her attorney pushed their meeting off until today and now BIL wants to reconcile. I am praying that my sister keeps her appt with the attorney. She has already started back-pedaling
Glad she has at least 2 of the kids. I'm continuing to pray for her & her children.
i hate situations like that where you're so helpless to do anything!! many good thoughts being sent your sis' way. i really hope she doesn't take him back and gets her son too!
You and your coworkers should start boiling eggs and putting them in sandwich bags. crack one open but don't eat it for quite a while. Then eat it in front of him. Let the stench permeate his work area. When he asks you to stop tell him you'll make a deal - your eggs go when his ice crunching goes.

I had lunch with couple friends I haven't seen in a really long time. Landry was a total mess. It was so frustrating. She totally freaked out at the "strangers," spent lunch either in my lap pulling my shirt down to bury her face in my chest - my actual, exposed chest - or folded in half in the highchair to avoid eye contact with... everything.
You know that friend you have? The one you think needs to get out more because you think she has gone half crazy from it just being her and a toddler all day? I think I was that friend to them today
I hate that. It never fails, when I need Cooper to be good, he is an absolute mess. If it makes you feel better, I work outside of the home and I'm pretty sure I've been that friend.
Uncertain. Multiple C level change in my company including today's announcement that my boss's boss (one of the top C's) is retiring.
I love my boss. Love love love love love love love her. I have a lot of career plans in the works and some of those include continuing to report to her but I'd been planning on skipping some others except that would put me reporting to someone I really don't like. If my boss leaves, that person could become my new boss and I could have forefeited a great opportunity.
The other career opportunity is still in the works but would involve me being the functional lead of the HR side of a peoplesoft implementation for my 13,500 employee hospital system. The risk with that is there is no guarantee of a job to come back to - ever. But odds are much higher if I do well and my boss is still in her position. Odds are very slim if she is not. Now, that would also be a huge resume builder so I'd hope it'd be NBD but the implementation job wouldn't come with a pay increase so it could be a huge time suck and career investment that puts me out on my bum once complete, and I have no plans to be an implentation consultant - I just think it'd be a great learning experience in terms of system performance and expanding my leadership skills and project management.
As our primary income earner in our home I'm risk averse if the odds are increasing that I'd have no position to come back to!

this. I really want to say something...........but then I'm the big mean ol' bully.
She went back to him. I could vomit. Or set someone on fire.
And then she must have told him her new email pw (he makes sure she gives him all her PWs to email, FB, etc so he can keep tabs on her)... I know she had changed it but I also know that he saw something that I sent her because he FB messaged me about it. We've all clearly changed...
He's still a controlling MFer, she's a doormat and a punching bag, and I'm the sucker who swears she's done with the drama and gets sucked back in every time. I feel so bad for those kids.
Duchess, I'm so sorry. I would be insane with rage if that were happening to my sister and if she kept going back it'd make me sick.

it's like the opposite of crying wolf!
: ( this happens to me a lot. because i can't do weekend stuff very often, a lot of my friends don't ask me. then when i could have probably done something, go figure, i wasn't invited.
but it's my own fault. i would NOT decide to be pouty at your office!

i will now resume singing "back to december". CARRY ON!
