I am K. H is AD Army. We just PCS'd. I have a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education and am working as a three year-old teacher right now. We have two dogs one is now 3! The other is 2. And i am super excited to hopefully meet AF_EOD one day soon!

Do I haaaaaveee toooooooo?

My H is in the guard after 8 years active duty. We allow two short kids to live in our house rent free in exchange for random chores and the occasional beating. We're expecting a new target for our amusement in January.

We also have a dog person who is every so slightly overweight and responds to a variety of names including chunky monkey.

I'm D and MH is A. He's ARNG and was also on AD for 7 years. We live in Philly with his DD (Alanna) and a 2 y/o cat child named Leela, who is more demanding than the human child. I'm an out-of-work special ed teacher (**shakes fist at education cuts). I'm using the time off to go to grad school and chip away at some various writing and craft projects.

I only lurk here, but I'm Boop, H is ARNG. We live in an AF town in west TX. He's a cop and I'm about to finish my last year of school to be a middle/high school math teacher. No kids (hopefully within this coming year?), just a very old dog and a troublesome cat who sometimes thinks he's a dog.

we are about to PCS to Norfolk in the fall.
Norfolk is the best! Well, not Norfolk, but the areas surrounding. I may be biased because I grew up there and live there currently, but still. If you need recommendations for anything in the area let me know!

We heard that Norfolk isn't exactly the "best" place to live there so we have recently chosen to live in Virginia Beach. How is the traffic going to base from there? Any recs of areas to live? Thanks!

We live in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake (which is about 20-25 minutes to NOB when you leave really early in the morning). As long as you get on I-64 before 7 the traffic isn't too bad, but any time after that it can get really heavy.

I'm not too familiar with the housing areas in Virginia Beach, but I love shopping in Lynhaven.

Hi! I'm A. DH is a former Marine, his two year anniversary of separation is coming up in August, he was AD for 5 years. We live in Northern California with our two silly furbabies, Simon our 8 month old Mini Doxie and Mister our almost 2 year old tabby cat. I'm currently working as an optician and applying for a job as a biologist with our county. It would be nice to get it as I could finally use my degree!!!

I am H. DH is former AF. He was in for 8 years and is now a government contractor. We have a son R and are expecting a little girl in September. We also have two spoiled kitties and a mini dachshund. I am a SAHM for now but I just finished my degree in pure mathematics and am dying to use it.

I come and go on MN..I don't get on here as often as I'd like to!

I'm Erica, my husband is AD Army and we are currently stationed in Hawaii. We are both originally from different parts of New England. No furbabies or human babies yet..looking into adopting a pup later this year and hopefully having a baby once we get settled at our next duty station in a couple years..I don't want to be on an island 6000 miles from home and going through my first pregnancy! I am currently a full-time nanny and am finishing up my certification to become a substance abuse counselor.

I'm Sam. DH is AD Navy and we live no where near water (go figure). I currently press clothes at a drycleaner but, I'm in the process of applying to be a health care administration officer in the Army Reserves. We have a 6 month old dog whose sister lives with our in-laws.
