I thought about you last night! I was watching the news and they were saying that drug based reactions were increased due to the heat wave.
That wasn't suppose to sound creepy. My mother had a dog bite and has been taking medication for it. She has flared up with something too!
Did you get your A/C fixed yet?
Thanks for the reminder to take my allergy medicine. I completely forgot!

That sounds like fun! I've never eaten at the cafe in Nordstroms, but my grandma loves to take me to the one at Neimans. Yum!

Let's trade work days.
Did you see the market yesterday? That equals a not fun work day today.
I thought about you this morning while watching the Asian and European markets nosedive like ours did yesterday. I hope you don't have to talk too many people off the ledge today.
I did.
I also looked at my 401K ... yuck.
We watch the market all day at work to manage our rates. We repriced 5 times yesterday in 8 hours. We were all beat down by it.
Mine was not pretty either! I didn't want to look but I needed to look this morning. My brother owns and Edward Jones in Denton and said he will be very busy today!
Are you guys still meeting for the movie tomorrow? I think I can meet up for the movie so I was just wondering.
I miss the schedule that I had for the past week. Go eat breakfast, go to the beach, go to the pool, go back to the beach, go to dinner, go to bed. However, I'm really glad to be home. Really glad.
Next Saturday. AMC Grapevine still has not posted times but it will be around lunchtime.

I'm just trying to skip over this next week since I have to work registration Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 AM to 7 PM. Not looking forward to it at all.
Oh, I forgot! They had to re-work my class schedule and I found out that I'm getting to go home an hour earlier this coming year!!!! I'll be able to leave about 3 PM (most days)--so I'm going to use that time to stop and work out every afternoon.
Any time I hear anything about the markets, I want to put my fingers in my ears and sing "la la la, I can't heeear you!" Not because I have any investments or even a 401k, but because I know the next thing out of the reporter's mouth will be about how this will affect the job market. I'm exhausted by it. 2 1/2 years is a long time to be looking for a "real" job.
I am jealous of all you ladies that get to leave work early today!

We are going to visit DH's parents way out in BFE (like seriously, 30 minutes from the nearest gas station, 40 to the nearest grocery.) My cousin is coming with us and she and BIL are currently in a spat, so it should be interesting.
On the bright side I made cheesecake stuffed chocolate cakeballs for BILs birthday and we get to enjoy those!
A college friend gave birth to her second child on Tuesday. She has a professional photographer come in and photograph the whole "birth day" and then posts a slide show up for everyone to see.
Def not my choice, but it is always beautiful and tastefully done. After watching video of baby #2 last night, I didn't look at the baby one time. I just sat there in awe of her. Full make-up and hair, peaceful, happy, pushed like she was birthing something pea sized and then bingo...a baby! And after while holding her new baby, she hosts a room full of about 20 people. All that was missing was a cocktail!
Before, during and after delivery she was just beautiful. Makes me kinda want to hate her!!!
I'm glad I just went over our finances last weekend, so I don't have plans to look at my investments for another month or two. I really don't want to know what the markets are doing.
I'm in limbo right now, waiting for some very important news for DH. If it's good news, we'll have a good weekend. If it's bad news, it'll be a terrible one. Work is a very good distraction from thinking about any of that.
I am sorry - hang in there. I hope people are nice to you today, or at least as nice as can be expected. I am also not looking at anything financial today - it scares me, so I like to pretend it's not happening.
Super jealous! Please tell me what it's all about.
