Can you do a blind stitch on a sewing machine?

I feel dumb having to ask. I was thinking this would be the best way to seal what I'm sewing after turning it right side out.

My grandmother always used that (she's the one who taught me to sew 3984749857984732 years ago), but if there's another stitch I should use would you suggest it? Also, I've never tried doing a blind stitch on a machine, which I would rather do because I REALLLLLLLLLY don't want to have to take that thread off after all the trouble I've had with it.

Thanks.

Love,

newbie sewer.
