we all (barely!) made it! it has been a long rough week.
had a weird night at home, but things are smoothed over now. went to bed way too late for me (fell asleep around midnight) and this girl is exhausted. you can tell because i am wearing a track suit to work. classy, right? my bosses are all out...
tonight we have company coming (the best man from our wedding and another couple that was also in our wedding) to get ready for the road race tomorrow. i will make them all pasta and we will have minimal wine, and then hit the hay for the race. tomorrow while they are all biking maniacs (50 miles? no thanks) i will take the dogs and go blueberry picking and visit my parents and some out of town cousins. then we (parents, cousins, dogs) will all go to the end of the race which is at a local brewery and enjoy some fresh beer and bbq.
sunday i do my first double digit run (eek!) and then i have a pottery class with my mom. and dinner with my in laws. busy but nice weekend 
cant wait for the off board!

I should be getting ready for work, but I have no clients today, and I have so much to do, that I am completely unmotivated to get dressed. I have to leave in 10 minutes...sigh...but if I don't go in, there will be 10 people that walk-in wanting a massage today.
I'm such a detail-oriented nutjob that DH told his sister that she absolutely made the right call putting us in charge of decorations. We dropped almost $200 at Party City on Wednesday, and another $50 last night at the grocery store, on this anniversary bash. And tonight we are having this big ole crazy slumber party at BIL's house. Which reminds that we forgot to put D batteries on the shopping list yesterday, and now I'll have to pick them up today.

We made. I got up at 7, let the dog out and crashed back on the couch. Oh did I mention that was my bed last night. Yep. My wonderful H wouldn't leave me the eff alone so I went to the couch to actually get some sleep. Now my neck and shoulders are hurting but whatever. I got sleep.
I'm thinking we'll go to the lake tomorrow, after I pick up J's b-day cake and then Sunday my fam is coming up to celebrate his b-day. I'll probably grill out burgers for that.
Leaving the school early today so I'm not getting home at midnight from the nursing homes. Geez I hope he finds someone soon to fill my spot. Even PRN is kicking my butt even though the extra money is nice.

I am one moody B***H today. J and I got into this morning. I swear he just wants to disagree with everything I say and it's taking everything in me not to punch him! And it's over stupid things!
It looks like it's going to rain today. The sky is dark, etc. So I closed up the windows (left some open a little). As I'm walking out the door I realize that all the bedroom windows are wide open. Ask J if he can close them a little since I'm running late. His response was "it's not supposed to rain until tonight." I get in the car and all the radio stations say scattered rain today. So I call him and say "can you please just close them a little so our carpet doesn't get wet IF it does rain before we get home?" His response "No, I just watched the news and its not raining till tonight."
WTF!?!?! Can't you just close the dang windows a little!?!?!?! And would you mind explaining why the sky looks like its going to open up any second if it's not "supposed" to rain till tonight?!?!
I swear that whenever I'm PMSing or otherwise being hormonal, H is extra contradictory. Can't he just get it through his effing head that I'm irrational and insane for a couple of days and it'd go by a lot easier if he just said "Yes, dear" and did the pointless things I asked him to do? Instead he straight up refuses, like I'm going to learn or something. Eff you! I'm clearly irrational right now! I'm not gonna learn SH!T!

TGIF. I would've killed a small woodland animal to sleep in this morning. For reals.
Last night I went home, let the dogs out and finished reading The Doctor's Wife out back. Then I ate dinner, cleaned the kitchen, ran the dishwasher, did two loads of laundry, packed a bit for the weekend, walked los perros and watched Teen Mom and The Challenge on DVR.
Geege went loony when a boxer strolled by and I had the cord part of his leash in my hand, when he took off it all spun out from the lead very fast, burning the skin off of my fingers. Cripes, dogs.
I have a meeting in 10 minutes that will take up most of my morning.
My BFF heard on the news that UPenn might have found a cure for cII which is the type of cancer her dad had. That would be awesome, and also so bittersweet. Just a few years too late for her family but just in time for many others.
Tonight hausfrauing then leaving after MFD's gig to drive down to MD and stay with friends for the weekend. Swimming, sunning, crabbing, relaxing. Bring it.

Nothing much to report here. I'm debating callling my doc to start pre-natal vitamins. In case we want to start trying. I want to have them so as soon as we decide, I can start taking them. But I know DH wans to wait and I feel like getting them now is ignoring that. I can't make any decisions these days.

FYI- I only take over the counter. Which I started taking when we starting trying. If it's going to cost you anything to contact the dr. don't bother. They will most likely just tell you to get over the counter. HOWEVER, if some people ask for prescription b/c it's cheaper to pay the co-pay rather than over the counter costs. just fyi.

Emilee - FWIW, I talked to a pharmacist and the only diff between the prenatals you can get OTC and the ones you need a prescription for is the level of folic acid. Oh, and the OTC ones are usually way cheaper (unless you have kick-ass insurance, which I do and OTC were still cheaper. I used to get them at Giant when they were BOGO). In case you want to use those until you really def want to try.
Hey all. It's finally Friday. I'm so sorry for everyone's hubby arguing issues. H hasn't been home enough for us to really argue lately.
I'm having all kinds of email issues this morning. My phone wont let me sign in, says the password is wrong... went through the browser, and signed in without issues... still wont let me in through my email app or even the yahoo one I just downloaded. GRRR. highly annoyed by this whole issue.
Especially since I was in contact with a lady to work from home as her assistant... got an email "position accepted" this morning, and now it's GONE. Seriously. I read through it once, figured I'd reply later, and then it's not there. Not in any other "spam/trash/whatever" folders either. Sent her a request to resend. Nice impression right? Grr.

Morning! Sweet baby jesus, so glad it's Friday. H was gone again last night, but this time for a hockey tournament in Tahoe. It actually lasts through Saturday, but he'll sleep at home tonight because they also have a game for their regular team here, so they are driving back.
Haven't shared a bump pic in a while, and figured it was time. This is me this morning, and yes, I'm getting my roots done tomorrow!

So, on the OB thing. I'm not sure about that other site's functionality, as I've never used it before, but I'm willing to try. Anyway, I feel like I'm being a pusher, but the FB secret group thing is very nice. It doesn't show up in your list of groups, and you still have the functionality of FB, so it's more threads like we have in TN than one long message.

and I don't remember who is was that was talking about prenatals, but my new doc got me a perscription, but it was a free one at my meijer pharmacy. so free all around as far as I'm concerned... Don't know if that's an option anywhere else, but thought I'd throw it out there.

So, I can barely walk from basically squatting for 30 minutes during my sculpting class yesterday. As of yesterday I did 11 days of exercise in a row. Today I'm going to walk outside at lunch...right on over to Sephora. Come to mama pretties. Come to mama.

Other than that, not too much to report. Work=busy, runs=going, weather=constantly 85...very mundane
My one upset for the day. DH left the fridge door open all.night. I woke up to a glowing light in the kitchen and everything at room temp. So it's up to him to toss and replace.
Major thumbs up to my parents dog we were puppysitting. Didn't even get into any of the food, even though we had a pound of sliced turkey on the bottom shelf at doggy nose level.
Wow - yesterday was lively, love it!
TGIF and if I can make it a few more hours my long much needed weekend awaits, holla! Yesterday after getting home from work, DH, the pup and I went for a 3 mile run. Let the pup off leash and she ran BTTW into the creek to cool off, then she ran like a banshee to catch up with DH. Made tacos for dinner, watched some tv and then went to bed. Slept almost 8 hours last night and have gone to bed before 10pm three nights in a row, holla!
This weekend, not too much planned, maybe finish up the trim in our house, paint the 2nd of 3 bedrooms. Sunday MIL is taking me to breakfast and we'll probably gossip about the ex-DIL who is a trainwreck, go to Joann's craft/fabric store. DH & I will throw a bbq for one of his brother's bdays (who is older than me by 2 days
).

Shauni, I had a total bump growth spurt in the last two weeks. No less than half a dozen people approached me at work this week to finally ask questions about when I'm due, and they all said they had no idea before. Today at my meeting, when I stood up to leave, the woman who'd been sitting next to me was like, oh hello! and congratulations!
Oh my gosh, I hate when my dogs do this. Sometimes they will wrap around my legs and then take of and it leaves burn lines on my legs. I have had many finger ones also.
H looked in one of our cabinets this morning and said "is that blender ours?" Yes ofcourse. So he wants to make margaritas at our house this Saturday so that's about all I have planned for the weekend.
And I have to go shopping for a job interview I have next Tuesday. I'm so nervous!!
