Re: Say anything... again!
Skirted around the issue and how they do their best to get patients seen as soon as possible. We are trying to switch to Dr. W. If he's full I'm going to try the other TCPA here is SC. I'm done with hour waits at doctor's offices. Done.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
My cat has a thyroid/metabolism issue that pretty much makes him feel as though he is starving hungry all the freaking time. He had a seriously bad reaction to his medicine (the cheap easy option), so in order to keep him from suffering, our other option is $1500 cat radioactive-iodine treatment.
oh my gosh.
also, my dog has to have $600 surgery next week.
sweet mary. anyone need adorable pictures of their children?

What's going on with Freddy?
No joke. She's MIA from my house too. I'm on CD47 (no I'm not pregnant, my last cycle was 49 days) and I'm supposed to start new pills this cycle so I'm getting a little annoyed with the wait.

Poor Freddy. Lots of positive doggie thoughts to him!
(totally not trying to be disrespectful to Freddy and his ailment)
The cone of shame cracks me up. Not the reasons that animals have to wear them, but just seeing them on makes me giggle. When Harwell was neutered he had his cone on and he would just put his face on the ground and stand there. He wouldn't move. Just stand there with his face on the floor. Hysterical.
She posts on MarriedLife too. I recognized her name. What was her deal again?
I posted this in a thread where Nanner paged Viula & Clare. But everyone might not read that & I don't want some of you getting mad at me for not telling you. But I'm still being a little chickenshit about this & just posting it in SA rather than e-mailing some of you. Because I'm scared. I haven't told my parents yet either.
Anyways, we're moving to Singapore sometime in the first quarter.
I'm a mess of emotions.
OMG! How exciting you you.....and sad for us. How great is it that Nanner lives there already?
That is very exciting. I am selfishly sad, but I know it will be a great opportunity.
How exciting! How long will you be there?
HP - I'm excited and sad for you!
I may strangle my husband. About a month ago I came down with a cold. I felt like crap for about two weeks, but didn't complain much until the second week when I only slept about 3 hours each night because I coughed so much. Then DH got sick (kill me). He got an antibiotic and finally, after 2 weeks, got better.
Then last week he slices his heel on the garage door. Yes, I'm sure it hurt. But he didn't actually cut his foot off. Then Thursday his back starts hurting. Then Saturday his throat hurts again. And finally Sunday during church he sighed and I asked him what was wrong and he said that he didn't want to complain (sarcastically).
Lord love a duck, if he comes home complaining tonight I'm going to give him something to complain about. He won't consistently take medicine, he won't go see a doctor, and I'm sure it is all related to stress (I get that) but do something about it.
That is exciting, but I'm sad you are leaving. Do they have any idea how long you will be gone?
Probably in Singapore for 6 - 12 months. Then South Korea for 12 - 24 months. Then we'll be moving again, probably either to Brazil, West Africa, or back to the states.
OMG I'm sorry but this made me laugh so hard. Seriously, what is it with men? My DH cannot for the life of him remember which meds to take for what/when. i.e. he'll take tylenol for back pain when everyone knows advil is better for muscle pain then complain that it's not helping. And he can't remember which cold meds are decongestants and which ones are antihistamines and what the difference is. One day a few weeks ago he took Benadryl at 4pm then he was "too sleepy" to help me with dinner/bath/bed and passed out on the couch instead. No kidding moron! You took Benadryl!!!
We'll miss you but oh my gosh!! How exciting! I think I'm jealous.
I'm with Harmony on this. Yay Boo Yay! What a fabulous opportunity.
I am so excited for you!
I'm also crazy sad for us.
Sweetness. <shudder>
I can't help but read that in the Gollum voice.
So Napa sans drinking was not the WORST thing ever but I'm already thinking about going back.
LOL
Seriously-that sounds like a version of hell. I hope you are planning a do-over!
I think if I had been before and knew any different it would have been WAY worse. But the weather was so great, our house was amazing, I was with good friends and did *taste* most of the wines, it wasn't as awful. I did have a few low points but tried not to let it ruin things. But DH knows there WILL be a do-over and our friends want to go back and rent the same house again so I'm optimistic!
My wine room will be very well stocked when baby arrives, that makes me very happy!
my kitty had one removed from her eye a few years ago. it turned out to be benign. hope it's the same for freddy!!
