Re: Hi I'm new here
Also, thanks kiddo for the new quote! I almost kicked KC off of my sig, but I love her way more than I love your lack of education.
I'm laughing at the hilarity of feeling sorry for a board full of women married to military spouses, calling them lazy and irresponsible.

I think it's the amount of sparkles in your siggy. Oh, and I found this for you! YWIA!

Not if you love your H
You're assuming that her husband would let her.
You're assuming that her husband would let her.
Well, if your H wasn't so lazy and irresponsible, you wouldn't have to work.

Well, we are from Arkansas...that's how we roll, yo.
Psst, married...you should feel sorry for my H.
But it's the bible, people!! lol

I'm so glad the baby is napping!
OP, let me tell you something about my husband taking responsibility for his family. My husband would love to give the me the option to leave my current position but it's just not within our comfort zone to give up saving money and having the security of a dual income. He has 16 years in with the Army Reserves, two deployments come and gone. He has been looking for a new job since he came back from his first deployment in 2006 in fields that look favorably on military experience and he hasn't found a position yet. You know why? Because the job market is so saturated with service members coming back from deployment and looking for jobs. Keep that in mind when in four years your husband doesn't re-enlist, doesn't have his four year degree (which by the way also doesn't guarantee a job) and his only option is take accept minimum wage at McDonald's which will either force you to get a position right next to him or live in poverty.
I'm sure it's been drilled into her head for her entire life that she's worthless if she can't devote her entire life to her husband and children and that it's completely selfish to want to educate herself beyond what the state mandates.
I'm just going to throw it out there: I WON A DAMNN AWARD FOR SUPPORTING MY HUSBAND! I WAS KEY SPOUSE OF HIS MAJCOM FOR 2010. I all of that while being a wife, education manager, fundraising superstar, pet mom, sister, daughter, cook, housekeeper, and individual.
Don't forget to add about how society has declined now that moms are in the workforce, divorce rates are up and the children are suffering by being raised by strangers.
I mean dude, if there is any ideal time to go to school while married, it's when your H is working full time and you have no children.

...that was my point.
So what about when he's TDY or deployed and you aren't with him? What do you do then?
I don't think there is anything wrong with aspiring to be a wife and mother, but I have a hard time believing that is all you want out of life.

She's very likely a troll so yea... She didn't have the glitter stuff added until later on after those other threads. Her slang speech in her username but speaks properly in replies.
I agree but there's something wrong when she has absolutely no interest (or permission to be interest in something) outside of the four walls and roof of her home.
Men who outrank your husband and therefore get paid more aren't taking care of their responsibilities?
Go home to mommy and daddy, naturally!
THIS. I was just thinking this.
I've gone from "I just want to help this poor lost girl" to "I'm going to fvcking slap her senseless..but she already is, so maybe I'll slap some sense INTO her"
