Jax - My Piper (the white one) had a tumor on her head that was really close to her eye. We had to get it removed and it wasn't cancerous, but it could have screwed her eye up had we left it. I hope Freddy has a fast recovery.
And #s, doesn't everyone serve king ranch chicken for dessert? Duh.

YES. And she wouldn't meet any of us in person, supposedly because of past internet issues. Which is totally understandable, but combined with the pictures of body parts of a kid that wasn't hers...it was just strange all the way around.
Which then also reminds me of Jaxxy, and her daughter Hermoine. Lord, that was hilarious. I wish they'd make a reappearance. (Maybe if the right people read this, it'll happen!)
I too have a gajillion things to do. "Screw around & waste time on the internet" isn't one of them either.
Party poopers. I've been good, stayed off the nest for large chunks of time, worked this weekend and all day yesterday to finish by deadlines. Lots of good it got me- more work since I'm doing well with my projects. Blech
I'm surprised people still talk to others on the phone. Maybe it's because I talk to coworkers all day every day that I jut don't want to chit chat on my free time. Or maybe it's because I don't like anyone that much
what you need is a photobooth! then the stress will melt away, because you'll be assured that everyone will have a wonderful time. ; )
ok, i just had a lunch meeting with a client who lives by my house. we went to my favorite little lunch restaurant where you pay at the end of the meal up at the counter. she left before me, PAID FOR MY MEAL, and to top it all off, ordered me a little sampler dessert! what a sweetheart : ) she's getting something extra with her print order fo sho.
thank you guys for the encouraging words about doggie eye surgery. he's going on thursday morning.

One thing Piper would do when she had her cone was take a flying leap into a pile of pillows and thrash her head around. I am assuming it was to scratch the itch that comes with an incision. She looked ridiculous. There was this little white dog butt in the air wiggling around in the pillows.
Yes, I lurke a lot more than I post. I've been given a talkin' to over there before, lol.
However there are some conservatives over there with street cred because they can back their positions up really well. Vermont, hindsights-a-biotch, JulieFe, KateAggie, and Sisugal. Pamela posts over there too but she is way too far right so she just gets ignored or smacked down now and then.

harmony, that's pretty funny! i'm sure if fred is itchy he'll just let out his HUGE whines. ERRRR-ruurrrr. he does this at the back door sometimes pretending he needs to go out, but once you get there he runs to get his ball and throws it at you.

I'm turning in my notice tomorrow. (cue sickness now) I'm praying that the pieces fall into place and things work out, but the way my luck has been running I'm losing my positive attitude. Ha!
Anyway, DH's aunt passed away this afternoon. He said last night that he would likely go up there and back in the same day, but I feel like we need to go and spend more time for his family. That would mean I'd need to turn in my notice and then ask for a day or two off.
This is one of those time where I think I may have had a fleeting thought that was "well, it can't get any worse" and sure as sh!t it did.
You know what. I still firmly believe that good things are headed your way. Don't know how or when, but good people never stay down for very long. Hang in there.
