  Today is the day we supposedly find out on the never-ending-AFD hiring process.  They are supposed to post the initial ranked list sometime today and where DH falls on the list will pretty much tell us whether it's a go or not.  Though even if he's ranked high, there will still be a lot more hoops to jump through.  (I say supposedly because the whole process has been a clusterfuck from start to finish.) 

  I have no idea what I'm hoping for anymore, I think I hope he gets in, but I'm scaredshitless if he does.  I wish they'd just publish the damn list already so I can get something done besides refresh the website over and over and over.

  Good Luck!  My now ex-BIL tried to get into APD a few years ago.  It sounds like a similar situation.  It ended up being such a cluster that, even though he placed at the top, he couldn't go through with it.

  Austin fire department.  They've been testing for a new cadet class since January.  That's right we are 8 months into the process.  
  

  My big boy is bounding towards 3! Hoping to add a sibling. Hipster dog is not impressed.

  C just asked me to put a bow in his hair. By ask I mean he ran up threw it at me and then took it away placed it on top of his hair.
