Re: AW/FFFC's
I've always felt like I was missing out on something by never being in a wedding. I'm the matron of honor for one coming up in a few months. I was not missing out on anything.
Another one - I don't want to go to my BIL's birthday party this weekend. My other BIL and his wife will be there, and I can't stand them. I am trying to make the best of it, but I know I will need my pal xanax to make it through the evening.
FFFC: DH went to see a movie last night with FIL and BIL. I was planning on cleaning. But I decided to pamper myself for the evening instead. I took a bubble bath, did one of those facial mask things, painted my nails (the good way this time. Usually I just put on a couple coats really quick and they are streaky and start chipping right away, but this time I did 3 coats AND the top clear coat
), and watched a lifetime movie. I love spending time with DH, but it was nice to have a girly night to myself.
AW/FFFC: We went to the trails the other evening with the ILs. MIL and I went trail running for about 2.5 miles. We got back to the cars (it was so hot, I felt like I was going to die!) and we got our bikes and went mountain biking for 4 miles. When we usually do the 4 mile trail, I get totally exhausted about 3/4 of the way. This time I hardly got tired at all! And that was after trail running! The FFFC part? DH and I went to Braum's afterwards and got ice cream and coke
I'm sure that cancelled out a lot of the calories we had just burned, but it was sooo worth it.

I got some GREAT news this last weekend but I can't share it just yet and it is killing me. Just when it seems like things are going negatively we finally have a turnaround and I am SO thankful! Now, if only I could share the news.
Ok, now you have me wondering.
FFFC: I'm quite annoyed that someone I work with, with whom I have tried to be friendly as we were in the same graduate program and work in the same department, just grunted at me when I said my master's degree had become final and I was excited. She got the degree back in December. We did the exact same program.
H thinks she's intimidated by me.
I'm so excited for you Ginger!
AW: Classes prepped, course websites completed, and two days of nothingness before the crush begins on Monday! I'd better enjoy it while I can!
