Re: Thursday randoms
hahahahaha! It still makes me laugh to think about as well.
I use to dress my brother up in a tutu and make him dance. I also took pictures. I swear he liked it. I don't know why I thought to take pictures of him though. Somewhere in the back of my 7 year old brain I must have known they were going to provide hours of entertainment in the future.
My poor little brother.
Random question, should I grab some fast food or can I wait until the welcome picnic at 4:30 to eat? I think I can wait without terribly dire consequences.
Random question #2, should I walk back to my car to grab another case book so I can try to get more work done before my next appointment at 2:00? The answer to this is probably yes, even though playing on the internet is more fun.
I posted a reply that isn't showing now. If I duplicated later, I'm sorry.
Diana: dude! You were a chore pimp!
Both of my brothers had a lot of forced makeovers. Isn't that what little brothers were for?
Not sure if this is pertinent any more, since is 1:52, but . . .
Random #1 - Are you hungry? Then yes, grab a quick snack.
Ranodm #2 - No, because you only have 8 minutes left to do that. :-P
The police came to our house this morning.
I was in the kitchen and our alarm system went off. I ran to the control panel and entered my code and ran upstairs to see what was up. Henry had the remote and was randomly pushing buttons. What fun! I took it from him, stashed it and thought that was the end of it.
A few minutes later, a policeman knocks on our door. He said the Panic button was triggered on our system and was just checking to see if every thing was ok. Embarrassing. Henry was hanging in the living room in just his diaper and pajama top with his toys thrown about. I explained what happened and the police took my information.
At least we know we get a quick response!
Well, that would make for an interesting morning! Glad to hear the police responded promptly. That's good to know. It's probably not the first time that sort of thing has happened to them.
Ha. It is good to know they're there for ya should there be a real emergency!

Juli, that was posted earlier on MM.
OMG.
One of my friends posted that on FB. I'm not going to read it. Military stories make me cry. Pet stories make me cry. Coming home after a week away makes me cry. It's way too early in my weekend at home to become a sobbing mess.
Yep. That's why I refuse to click the link.
We can be out of the loop with dry eyes together.
Late last night I was feeling tempted to read it...just because I have to know everything my friends know. But I resisted!
I can totally relate to that. I love it every time the first number decreases!
We're two payments away from losing a decimal place on our Mazda loan--such a great feeling to pay things off!
It's getting hard to avoid! This morning it's one of the headline stories on Yahoo. It's also on my LinkedIn healdlines feed this morning too. I should probably just read it...
