Thank you so much for the offer Nanner, and I am sure I will take you up on it!  I definitely have found that not having amazon, 24 hr grocery stores, and a car have made me rethink my usual routine.  I've found that patience and flexibility have been key so far.  Although I can't say I haven't had a couple mini-meltdowns about silly things like walking etiquette and pretzels :)

What part of town are you in?  We live right by the Tiong Bahru MRT stop, which has been really convenient so far.

No way! You're really close to me! I'm near Lower Delta and Alexandra, about a 15 minute walk from Tiong Bahru. The old Tiong Bahru estate is one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city.

Were they goofy before moving to Lima? Or were they goofed up by the plane?

Ours came out of a 6 month quarantine in the UK with PTSD!

Hi!  DH & I are Americans living in Hong Kong with our 2 little kids.  Before we got married we lived in the Boston area, so it has a special place in our heart too.

     Welcome to Asia!
