Re: Say say say- Anything
She is not upset at all. I think she is relieved. It seems that she made it known that she wasn't a fan of the early morning practices. So they moved her to C team which practices after school. She is still just as excited.
There was a thong on the floor of the hallway into school this morning.
gross.
I'm guessing it was an athletes that she had in her bag to put on after workout but still.
Well, there goes my Labor Day plans. We were going to a pool party, but with a high of 93, I fear it will be entirely too cold to get in the water. I am going to request they bust out the fire pit.
Charlotte - you know I feel your pain. I hope your a/c gets fixed soon.
Kris - I am glad she isn't bummed and think it is great that she is playing. I never, ever played a sport and I wish I had.
I will probably have to bust out a turtleneck.
we will be outdoors for a concert at the woodlands this weekend, so i'm hoping to have to take my parka.

All these pixie cuts are making me reminisce about what I call my "Prague" hair. I almost decided to stay and take up temporary residence there when I was backpacking around. Punk cuts are more mainstream in Europe so I wanted to do a longer Pixie (basically same length as Kris's but all over the head) and spike it out, color it Royal blue and then do platinum tips.
I look at my current mom hairdo and realize I am so far away from being that crazy wacky risk taking 22 year old.

Feeling like this is part of the reason that I did it! I wanted to get out of my boring-mom rut and prove to myself that I can still be stylish and sassy.
I am hella sad that I am not going to said concert. I see him almost every time he comes to town.
You pulled it off! (Me going short even with a long bob did not work... my hair wants to be long and flowy, uncontained unless in a rapunzel-like ponytail, lol).
ETA - Kat really pulled it off too. Her fiery red hair in the pixie cut is so hot! I was going to suggest, Kris, that you go red but then you'd look like you were pulling a SWF on Kat.

I kind of feel like I already am.
But red is a no-go for DH. And I can respect that. Both of my sisters have red hair. I'm the only one that doesn't.
My grandma has an aggressive stomach cancer that has already spread to her liver and adrenal glands. She is coming home to hospice care, and it is supposedly a matter of weeks before she will pass.
I cannot believe this.

I am so very sorry.
I'm so sorry! Prayers of peace and comfort for her and for your family.
Oh, Jax, I'm so sorry. Thoughts and prayers to you, your grandmother and your family for peace and comfort.
This. I'm so sorry.
Kasey I'm so very sorry. I will continue praying for your grandmother's comfort along with everyone else in your family.

Ditto, lots of prayers for you and your family.
Me too. Lots of t&p for your family.
So sorry
Breathe! You'll be fine! I'll miss you but I know you did the right thing!
And Jax, I'm so sorry for what you are going through. Hugs!
It's going to be ok. If you need to talk you know where to find me.
Hope you find something soon! I've always wanted to quit a job.....was it dramatic?
I about 98% know how you feel. Thankfully for me something came through the DAY I was going to turn in my notice. Seriously, like an hour before.
So - I'm going to tell you that it will work out. And in the mean time, if you're off work for a while enjoy the time with the baby girl and catch up around the house. Good luck!
Not really. They could careless. Oh well. There has to be something better out there for me instead of getting a million calls and text messages from clients all day long.
And Kreeper, thanks. I'm really worried but I know in the end everything will work out.
