you ladies are so sweet, thank you so much for your thoughts.
i know that she's ready to go when her time comes, she's said it, and for the last couple of years she's been giving things away to us from her house. she's reached the point in life where she just isn't capable of the things that make her happy (cooking for everyone, watching the babies, being active at church). she's 90, and we all knew that one day soon she wouldn't be able to care for herself and we'd have to make a decision of how to help. we knew that once she took ill, it would probably be the end of her.
the reality of it has just hit us all very hard. i just pray that what's left of her life is peaceful and filled with smiling faces of her loved ones. i can't even imagine having given life to such a huge family!

It's a good day. DH's well completion bonus hit our account today. I won a $50 gas card from work. The kids were good this morning. Yep, it's a good day.

There is a guy working in our warehouse in training to join my department. I had noticed before that he has many tattoos on his arms, almost full sleeves.
Monday morning at the weekly meeting I noticed that one of the largest tattoos on his forearm is a naked woman. I hope he intends to cover that up with some long sleeves.
