Erin Condren girls.... UPDATE: pics added
Holy smokes, I.am.blown.away. (In case you haven't guessed, I got my planner today)
Best $25 I have ever spent. She has definitely won me as a customer for life!
I'm not at home but I'll post pics later today.
Re: Erin Condren girls.... UPDATE: pics added
Use the code SEEYOUSOON25 and that will make it $25!
Use the coupon code seeyousoon25 for $25 off. Please tell them Chasity Munn referred you if you use it. Thanks.
Gift cards are buy 3 get one free, I've bought a ton to use as gifts because every time I buy some, they send me another coupon code!
What planner colors did you get? I don't like my colors but i love my planner!
What makes them so great??
That's sort of what I'm wondering. They're not expandable, and they're crazy expensive.
They're cute, but the only planner I've ever spent a ton on was my leather Franklin Covey (which I don't really use right now anyway.)

I agree. I've never used a planner to it's fullest capability and often forget to write things down. However, I've had a lot of luck going digital. If I feel like I need the paper, I print my calendar page out and put it in my bag.
I think if you're a paper planner person, these are supposed to be great and cute to look at. I think if you are not a paper planner person, there is probably no reason to buy one.
I'm a paper planner girl. I tried going digital and it never worked for me. I always forgot to put in phone, or set an alert, etc. I typically spend $20-30 a year for a planner, so it was in my price range at $20. I'm a big list maker too, so I typically look it over and make my lists for the next day before I head to bed.
So Tasty, So Yummy
I do both digital & paper. And I keep things in different places. Work stuff goes on my Outlook/Blackberry. Personal things are on my Google calendar, unless work stuff will have me OOT.
I have a paper planner that I use to record appointments and mileage. It is easier to just write it down than to put it in my phone.
The paper one is super small and fits well in my purse or laptop case. I don't think I'd like these since they are huge.
Yep!
I am not a digital calendar person, and this is a very functional one with a great design.
Yeah, these are definitely bulky and not something to slip in a small purse.
Totally agree with rayskit10. I've just never been able to fully go digital...and I had one of the first Palm Pilots in 1999 for a test thing they were doing at my college. It's quicker for me to write down, and I remember things easier if I've written them down and am able to look at them. If your computer or phone is normally where you keep info and appointments, of course a $50 planner is dumb idea.
Eeee! They're so cute! I haven't used a planner since high school, and even then, I wasn't very good about writing things down. And honestly, before having Helen, I pretty much remembered most of what I needed to do in my HEAD. Uhhh....yeahhh, not only am 1000x more busy now, but my brain is complete mush and I can't remember anything. Also, DH and I have to actually coordinate now, whereas before we pretty much did our own thing all the time. We've been trying really hard to put things into our Google calendars, but I still feel like I'm a complete mess. I pretty much suck at writing things down, whether it be online or on paper.
Pook - I saw in one of your posts that your friend ordered one in navy and coral.... that sounds so pretty!
The navy & coral is really pretty in person.
I honestly have more Georgia stuff than my own in my calendar now. Dr appts, playgroups, sales at certain baby stores. Too much to remember!
this is us. I set us up with shared google calendars. DH puts all his work appointments in his google calendar so I know when he's super busy if I'm trying to schedule something we both need to be at. We have all our family events, appts, etc. Its really revolutionized our planning because we always know whats going on, even if someone forgets to tell the other something.
I even have a separate calendar with the weekly menu on it so DH knows what we are having for dinner, ha. Does help him not get a burger at lunch if we are having burgers for dinner.
I got mine and like it... haven't really gotten into it yet... at first glance though... I think I like my momagenda one better.
but this one will do for 2012
I don't know what we did before it. I guess we didn't have a kid then so scheduling wasn't as hard, but it is really amazing how easy it is to coordinate stuff with one another.
So Tasty, So Yummy
I am not a digital person at all either. Tried the Palm when it came out in college, went back to Franklin Covey. Tried using my iPhone, went back to Franklin Covey. Guess I prefer writing stuff down.
Here are pics (I've blurred out my last name for you stalkers out there):
It's a good inch thick.
6 sheets of these sticky labels (some pre-printed, some blank)
They also sent me 2 sample packs of gift labels (one to match my planner and one in a different design). LOVE everything!
I"ve used momagenda for a few years and I like it better, too. BUT this one was cheaper. And I don't like the look of the spiral binding, but I do like for it to be completely flat when I write, which the momagenda doesn't do.
OH I completely agree! I like the fact that it was cheaper AND that it lays flat too.
So would these Erin Condren planners be good for non mom's too? I need something to keep me straight. I don't like the franklin covey's. or the day runner's or day timmers etc. too manly, too businessy, etc.. I need something to keep ME straight. as if THAT was possible.
I checked out Almond's the other night, it's not mom-focused at all, it's just a run-of-the-mill planner with a little sass.
I have one and really like it. Definitely don't have to have kids to use it.
This is FutureJW. Stupid ae...I don't wan't a nosey SIL in our IF issues.

Thanks. I can never find anything personalized with my name and I like that.. I just didn't want anything Mom like. And I need something to help me stay organized. Might just treat myself to one.
And so I just ordered one. What can it hurt. I need something.
What print did you get? You'll ? it! Definitely a nice "splurge on yourself" type of thing.
