Re: Say say say- Anything
Oh wow, how scary. I hope it gets contained before it reaches you! I just can't believe how out of control it's all gotten.
my photography blog
I have almost successfully avoided all things 9/11 over the last few days.
Jax, I'm so sorry. I very much know that feeling. Big big hugs.
Big strong hugs to you, Jax.
Random funny:
Yesterday as we were getting ready for church I told Tori to put on her leggings. She randomly asks "Are they PAJAMA JEANS?" Um, no they are not and how do you know pajama jeans even exist.
The power of tv!
We were at Kohl's yesterday, and DS pointed to a stuffed animal and said "Clifford!" I have no idea where he learned Clifford - we don't have anything at home. So, they either read Clifford books at DC, or he saw a commerical or something. Amazing they stuff that they pick up on!
Im sorry Kat... and I totally understand. My SIL doesn't include us in ANYthing and I had so wanted a relationship with her. I know it hurts my husband too but he tries to stay strong and act like it doesn't bother him. I know it's not about ME but it still hurts. So I get it.
You're a good aunt even if they don't see it.
Jax... I'm sorry! hugs
yay!
Exciting. I'm guessing girl because everyone I know who has a boy and is now pregnant again is having a girl.
I hope you are right... not ashamed to say it! hahah.
I've thought girl since the moment you said you were pregnant. If I'm wrong it'll be the first time in a long time.
Don't leave us hanging - what is it?
It's a how-to research sort of topic, sort of hard to explain, but I'm apparently also supposed to demonstrate worldcat.org and jstor. wahoo. I bet your jealous.
Seriously though I probably need to go figure out how to use worldcat through the public portal, it looks totally different. I access it internally from within a research library and uh... it's different.
This is going to be an awesome lecture y'all.
That sounds like my sister. She's expecting her 3rd in March also. She has a 7 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. I think she finds out this Thursday. I'm hoping she has another boy.
Two words: Time Suck.
I hate that there's so much Christmas stuff showing up already... but at least it's pretty Christmas stuff.
Not that any of you would mention it on FB, but just in case, please don't share, because it isn't public knowledge yet, but...
I just found out that there is a distinct possibility that when we move back to Houston (most likely in 2013), DH will get on another project that will take us back to Singapore a year or so later.
sigh
That's not an unhappy sigh. It's just an "I don't want to move home, only to uproot my family again a year later" sigh. I'm not sure how to feel.
When that happened to us, we attempted to address it with our rear neighbor and then took it to the HOA. There is, unfortunately, no noise law but apparently between 10pm and 7am they will still address it.
What I don't understand is..don't they hear it?! If my dogs bark even 1 time, I am outside addressing it. It's just so irresponsible, why get a dog if you are just going to leave it outside to bark incessantly.
I am a dog person and that would annoy the ever loving crap out of me.
This. My dogs are inside dogs and if they get left in the living room instead of coming to bed with us or the kids (spoiled ass dogs), they bark at the hall door. It is obnoxious and I wouldn't want to subject my neighbors to that.
Yeah...I thought about that as well. The biggest problem is that I think she's out there about 4:30 feeding them. She told DH she is an early riser, but 4:30 doesn't even begin to touch early. They go NUTS then every day. And it isn't like they are big dogs - I'm talking very small breed dogs. So why can't you have them in a large two-story house overnight??? The person who lived there before had small dogs that would bark in the morning, but not for very long and we got used to it. A month later, I'm still not getting used to this.
