Re: Nestie Interview Day
I don't have anything specific that I've bought. I got a ridiculous amount of clothes from my sister. I'll probably just pick out a cute, comfy sleeper in NB and 0-3. Since we don't know if its going to be a boy or a girl, we can't do much more fancy than that anyway.
peanutsmom- What is your favorite TV show?
Katiebird- What food do you hate the most?
I love Qdoba, but we don't have one near us. When we were in Vegas, there was one in the hotel. DH was at a work thing all day both days were were there. I ate there both days and loved it.
It just happened this morning.. a co-worker..
Yum, naked burritos! Their chicken is amazing and I love their pico. This is tough for me to say outloud - please don't get mad! But I prefer Chipotle's chips over Qdoba's.
Chipotle's chip have a hint of lime and are usually really salty...not healthy at all but I love them and I only do them them every once in a while. ::hanging my head in shame::
I love fall. I'm not a huge fan of the extreme heat, so I love that its getting colder. I love the leaves turning, apple cider & apple picking, and football. And now, its even more exciting because of the LO coming. I love this time of year!
No hate from me! I like chipotle too! I actually have a $20 gift card burning a hole in my wallet right now from chipotle. I just like Qdoba better!

I'm not a huge fan of Thai food. I've tried numerous times and I find the food too bland tasting for me. Maybe I just can't find the right place.
Its a funny story actually. Back in college I was working at Office Max and became really good friends with some coworkers. I was dating this guy 9 years older than me off and on and was getting annoyed with how things were going. So one day I say to my friend at Office Max "Find me a boyfriend who doesnt suck".
A few weeks later he comes to me and says about about my friend Dan, youve seen him at some of my parties. And I said I was willing to see where that would lead.
A few weeks go by and nothing comes of this suggestion. Then one night I want to go see a movie call the Office Max friend up and ask if he wants to go. He says he cant and suggest that I call Dan to see if he wants to go. Me, being a shy person, says I cant do that. Friend says fine, Ill call him and tell him to give you a call. Call Dan, gives him my number to call me, he cant go out that night, but we spend on hour taking on the phone and make plans to go out another night.
Things just kind of snowballed from there. A year later we were engaged and three years later we got married.
Knowing what I know about my DH know, Im floored he actually called me that night, because he is a pretty shy guy himself.
Spence- What do you usually do when you have free time?
Mara- What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Boogerbear- Do you have any siblings?
Peanuts- What was the last thing you cooked and ate?
Jenn- Are you ticklish?
Sassy- What is your least favorite household chore?

Latte- What is your favorite flavor of Latte?

Honestly, I dont know that I would move. I know you dont like being out in the middle of no where, but I kind of enjoy it. I love my family so I dont want to be too far away from them, but here Im just the right amount away.
However, that being said, if I could move my family with me, I would love to move back to Texas, probably San Antonio, or even Dallas or Huston. Or my other dream city would be Boston. My aunt lives there and I love visiting her. I can get enough of that city.
DH and I actually just tried Moe's the other day. It was good, but then again, I'm pretty easy to please. I felt like it was kind of expensive, BUT we got a TON of food for what we ordered. Neither of us had burritos though, I had the nachos and DH had a bowl of some sort... Is your boss the one fighting for Moe's? I would probably go back and try something else. I like that they give you free chips and salsa.

All of them?
I hate taking care of the house. But when I do, Im a maniac about it, Ill clean the room top to bottom, every crack and corner.
But I guess I hate dusting. Really hate it. I think because this was my chore as a child.
Katiebird - Are you living in MI now or just happen to be up visiting? I feel like I missed something lol.
Kzoo - What was your favorite thing about Maine?
Jennic - Are you secretly (or openly) hoping for a boy or girl?
Rtizy - Did you ever get a slurpee?
Spence - If you have to pick between Florida or Alaska for a vacation, which would you pick and why?
Sassy - Are you in your forever house? Do you like living in Howell?
Kzoo - Would you ever go skydiving?
Mara - What's next on your home improvement list?
Right now, nothing, but I realize that fall tv started so I might have to say Parenthood. I am slowly becoming a big fan of Seinfeld reruns.
Definitely the White Water Rafting!

No.... I have a heart murmur that makes me ineligible to go skydiving... Better safe than sorry!

Do you consider being on the Track team a sport? I was on Track in 9th grade and I was horrible...always last.
I'm still seeking couseling for this... kidding.
I do count track as a team sport! You can win meets, so you have to work as a team (even though you run alone). I ran track in 8th grade, I hated it. I ran long distance with a bunch of friends and we had all of these paths in the woods. We would just find a tree to sit under and hang out by for the majority of practice.

I'm actually the Moe's fan. I get the homewrecker (which is huge... I have no idea how I eat it all). I think the thing I like the best is that all the different toppings are included. And now I want a burrito :-)
Kzoo - What is your favorite holiday?
Latte - What is your favorite store to shop at?
Katiebird - What one item of clothing in your closet could you not live without?
Jennic - Do you want more kids after this one, or is the little pumpkin going to be an only child?
Spence - Whats your favorite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon?
Peanutsmom - If money were no object, what one place would you like to visit the most?
Boogerbear - What is your dream car?
Katiebird - Are you living in MI now or just happen to be up visiting? I feel like I missed something lol.
Yes, I am now in MI and hoping to stay here for a while. We put an offer on a house in August and are still waiting to hear from the bank (it's a short sale). We moved back in mid July. Oh happy day...
Actually, I don't always mind where we live. I actually like the area, I just hate not having some of my family and friends close by. I just wonder about what areas of the country or state people think it would be nice to live in.
I have a friend that lives in Boston and she really likes it. I've never been myself.
I'm not really a flavor person. I like plain skim lattes. I have heard the carmel ones are good, but I haven't tried one yet.
More then likely this will be our forever house, unless DH gets promoted enough that I dont have to work any more, then we may move back to the east side to be closer to family and friends.
Out house is big enough for a family (4 bedrooms) and we have lake access. Eventually we would like to build a large garage with a workshop in the back for DH, and a living area above it that I can turn into a craft room/exercise room, since I will lose both of those when we have kids. And then the house will be perfect.
I enjoy living in Howell. I like the small town feel. And I spent so much of my childhood driving places, that it really doesnt phase me when I have to drive 45 minutes for something.
I think my favorite is Christmas (real creative right?) but I've never owned a home during halloween, and I am seriously excited to have trick-or-treat-ers this year... I kind of want to through a giant party too... So halloween might be my favorite this year.

I hear you on the family and friends thing. It sucks. Weve been out here 5 years and I still dont have any gal pals out here. We should exchange numbers sometime so we can get together for lunch or coffee.
A little bit. I do not enjoy being tickled, though. DH insists on doing it because I laugh - he says if I'm laughing I must like it. Makes me mad.
I honestly am not. I will be thrilled either way. Although, I am a little nervous about how MIL will react if we have a girl. You can just tell that she always wanted a little girl and I think she will attempt to be much more 'involved' if its a girl rather than a boy.
