  I had mine preserved. I doubt that either of my daughters will want to use it when or if they get married, but I still couldn't bring myself to part with it.

  I got mine cleaned & preserved...it's now in the box they put it in w/ a clear window so u can see it. My husband & I still rent our apt, so it's in the living room for now...not sure where I'll put it once we buy a house. But I never considered throwing it out or donating it or even one day giving it to our daughter (if we have one, God-willing)...I'm sentimental that way. It's my dress & even though I only wore it one day, it's still a special part of me...I still have my dresses from 8th grade ("exit day" & graduation ceremonies), "junior ring day" for my junior yr in HS, & my prom dresses (I went 2 years). So maybe I'm slightly a hoarder...lol BTW GCsn2bRhds - I think we share the same wedding anniversary (7/11/10)! 8-D
