Crap, I was just at Target and they had quite a bit of random odds and ends left. Maybe I should have bought some and put it on Ebay.

They said on KKITM that Target put out a press release saying that there is a lot more coming and they have plenty of stock. So these people paying $$$ for them now could just wait and get them in a couple of weeks at the original Target prices.

I don't think every single item is going to bring that much. Ebay is flooded with Missoni stuff and that would keep the prices down.

I am returning anything I don't want, I have fundamental issues with the whole concept buy an item just to sell it on ebay.

To be completely bare bones with you girls as I generally am: I am back and forth on wanting success these next couple of cycles. I know this sounds ungrateful but now that I have booked a flight to Vegas and put the plan into motion to train for a 10k, I kind of feel like I want to enjoy both of those things to the fullest.

Then again, I almost feel like making these plans is a defense mechanism for myself. I am telling myself, "see you didn't want to be pregnant anyway!" Kind of like how I always told myself I was 100% okay with being child-free, I now know that this was a way of protecting myself from all of this.

This is the most Debbie Downer post. Please know I am not down about this all the time. 99% of the time I am great and living life. I do understand it will happen when it does. Whether that is this month or in a year or three years, we will be parents and the timing of it all will be awesome and as it was meant to be.

In other news - I love you girls but I would rather walk into the baby shower naked than say anything so snarky to my relatives. They are old nosy ladies and I would get so much family flack for saying any of the suggestions, I think I am just going to have to extend my threshold for fake nice.

So does everyone at this party know what you are dealing with? My non snarky answer is to work Titan into the mix some how. If they don't know that you are trying and you don't care to share with them, you could say "When are we going to have kids? We already do! His name is Titan. Cousin had an impressive turnout (change the subject)."

I saw a dress and a throw blanket auction end for nearly $200 each. So, it may not last...but stuff is definitely selling for crazy prices.

That girl I know is just trying to figure things out, but man she's just out the gate with questions. Didn't search or anything. Also, her questions are little strange from the average questions we normally get. I can't fault someone for coming on before they are engaged since I did that.

I don't know what the final straw was for K&A, but she did delete her account. I luckily just saw the drama from the outside and I'm glad for the most part it's over.

N&M came back once or twice after her wedding but never did reviews or shared her pics or anything. I hate when Knotties do that! I just stalked her photog's blog but nothing--that photog is terrible at keeping up her blog. She was my second choice and I'm glad I didn't pick her.

Kendall unfriended everyone on FB and disappeared after the vendor sticky thing.
Kendall is still friends with a few people. According to one of them, she deleted her TK acct.
N&M told someone here (I forget who) that she never posted anything really about her wedding because she was afraid that we would all ruin her wedding by crashing it or calling her vendor. She did have a problem with her alcohol count but she brought it up a month after the fact. No way to help her now!

I am so not trying to stir the pot but I only remembered this because I almost used it earlier today but there was a HUGE issue with someone using the term ghetto that offended N&M and that's the last I've seen of her although I'm not a regular poster/lurker on TK anymore. Of course that happened right around when we moved over to TN and I only remember that because it was discussed at the first book club meet (May) and we all migrated over from TK in April (when BL and Sarah got married).

Don't knock eBay

It put myself through college doing it.

I ended up going and finding a baby blanket for my SIL...even though I can't stand her....I think the child should be stylish.
