From MM and to liven this place up!!
If Dh made $1,000,000 a year, would you work?
Re: From MM and to liven this place up!!
if i needed to.
but i'd probably do what a few of my "housewife" photography friends do-- still work from time to time, but funnel all proceeds to charity (Pictures of Grace is one of the photogs who does this).

Not at this job.
If I could find something I loved, I would work. But I'd probably just do volunteer work.
No. At least not right now.
I would go to college. And then work part time if I could find something I loved. Or just do much more for my church than I can do right now.
They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
Pretty much this. I'd love to find something to do that i'm passionate about or that makes me happy.
Yes probably. I think I'd finish out the project I work for now (we have 3-5 more years) and fund it too since funding is running dry for all things history. Then I'd probably commence writing the book I've been researching for the past decade or so. When my book was done I don't know, unless I found another publication project I was in love with I'd probably go back to consulting/contracting and just work when I felt like it. I'd definitely have help at home though.
I've been thinking a lot about what I'm going to do when this project is complete, or when funding runs out, I wish the $1,000,000 husband was an option. sigh.
This! I would love to go back to school or I'd run the family restaurant.
This.
This was exactly my thought as I was scrolling through everyone's answers.
Ditto.
But it sure would make our lives a hell of a lot easier!
I would become a vintage furniture dealer. Then I would have an excuse to hoard chairs.

...and I would have a bigger house and be your best customer!
probably, but not in the same capacity.
a normal day for me is 7am-5pm plus i work quite a few evenings/weekends. its a labor of love, but not sure that i would do it if i didn't need the paycheck.
if i did, there would definitely be a housekeeper in my life.
Probably but I sure as heck wouldn't let it stress me out the way it does now.
