My Latest FO (No, not the test knit)

Okay, so technically it's not my latest Finished Object, since I finished the test knit this weekend (yay!), but I only just got DH to take pictures of it last night, so here it is, the New York Cardigan:

 I used Knit Picks Gloss DK, which is a lovely merino/silk blend--so soft!

The pattern was pretty easy, too--well the body was.  It was just a simple raglan.  The "scarf" part was knit separately and sewn on afterwards.  That piece got pretty tedious after a couple of pattern repeats.  Now I remember why I don't knit scarves very often!

Also, I was intending to make the sleeves 3/4 rather than capped, but underestimated the amount of yarn I would need--oops!  Oh well, I kinda like it with the capped sleeves, but know it's not going to last long with the temperature dropping the way it has been...
