this is a really good one - I know I should do this, but I live on the 4th floor and work on the 6th floor (neither of which are ridiculous, but gah) and most of the time am just too lazy. I should put a more concerted effort into this!

H isn't into planning surprises, or planning anything too detailed, so the best surprise from H has been when he showed up and picked me up from work one day (after we had a HUGE fight) and brought our dog (who always makes me super happy). I take the bus to and from work, so surprise car rides are pretty freaking sweet imo.
