Hubs and I just got back from dinner... went to the pool at the hotel for a bit... it's pretty boring here. Back in the room... prob gonna watch the Charlie Sheen roast later.
So I'll respect Shazzie's gag order, but I'm sooooo excited for HIMYM!
I am taking a much needed break from school for the next hour, but I am so super stressed out
I am ready for this year to be over already
I know!!! We were away on vacation in Europe for 2 weeks! The business is going great, thanks for asking!!! Been busy catching up since we were away... and now we're away again on a business trip for hubs... one day I'll get to relax at home
OMG I've been craving PB cookies lately, but I'm trying to lose some pounds so I've been trying to be good...maybe I'll buy one when I'm out somewhere so I don't have a whole batch

I never thought I would say it, but me too. I was only there for a year before I decided to go back to grad school, but I miss my coworkers - and having a 9-5. After I get out of grad school that's it, I'm not going back again. Hopefully ever.

Peanut Butter Honey Cookies
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c shortening (I used more peanut butter instead of shortening)
1/2 c peanut butter
1/2 c honey
1 egg
1 1/2 c flour
1/4 t. baking soda
1/4 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
Heat oven to 350
Mix together the honey, sugar, peanut butter and shortening until smooth. Add the egg & mix til smooth. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients together. Mix the wet and dry together (add the dry in 3 additions so that your arms don't get tired). Drop teaspoon sized mounds of dough on a greased baking sheet. Press an X shape with a fork on the cookie dough (or else they don't spread at all & the centers won't be cooked while the bottoms will brown too much). Bake for 12 mins. Enjoy!

I would be a total nerd. I would basically only pin architecture/landscape architecture things so that I could pretend I was wasting time and it was school related lol.
This may be the dumbest question ever, but what are crocs?
This! It's like a way of visually bookmarking stuff you see on the web that you like. You create "pinboards" (think corkboard) that you can have a theme for, i.e. "Fall fashion", "photography ideas", "recipes", "home decor", "funny pictures", "diy craft ideas". You can name them whatever you like, and then as you go about your day, if you see something on the internet you like and want to be able to go back to, you "pin" a picture to one of your boards. You do that by integrating a "Pin" button to your web browser.
You can also look at things other people are pinning and "repin" stuff you like, similar to Facebook how you can "Share" a link. You can also comment on pins or "Like" them. The cool thing is, when you click on a pinned picture, it brings you back to the page you pinned it from!
