I'm thinking that he'll marry Nora and then, at the wedding, Robin will stop the wedding.

I miss alllll of last season due to wedding planning! And I can't get caught up until season 5 comes out next week.... But I am loving all of these little spoiler posts 
I don't know if Ted actually meets her at the wedding, or if something happens at the wedding that leads him to meeting the mother (or maybe ties it together with someone he already knows). I think that all he said to Future Wendy the Waitress in the airport was, "Well, there was this wedding" or something like that and she cuts him off ... so unless I'm remembering this scene wrong, that might leave it open to him meeting the mother somewhere other than Barney's wedding.
love the return of Victoria! Obv. she is not the mother but it will still be interesting to see what happens between the two, they had some serious chemistry and their relationship just ended due to the long distance thing, right? Or maybe Robin was involved, I can't remember exactly.
also like the idea of Robin speaking up at Barney and Nora's wedding, can definitely see the season ending with that.

I always hoped Victoria was the mother. In the episode where Ted says he met the mother at a wedding, he said just that: he meets the mother at A wedding. So--maybe not Barney's. Maybe he reconnects with her at Barney's wedding, but it's someone he's already met? Maybe they are going to intentionally keep us guessing right until the very end just to drive people crazy? lol
I doubt it's Victoria, but I still really want it to be. She was always my favorite for Ted.

i have read before that they're not going to do any tricks with who the mom is... they're not using someone from past episodes - main characters or girls he bumps into (like the st. patricks episode). i've believed for a while that we haven't seen the mother yet.
that also bums me out because i love victoria! ahh!
I believe this too. We have yet to meet the mother. Victoria was a good match for him but she just isn't the one. I don't know why they brought her back. I suppose she is just filler until the season finale when I think we are supposed to see the mother but I am not sure. HEck, for all we know Victoria could be married. She is one of his most fan favorite girlfriends so it could just be for ratings.

Like Ted, I'm going to choose to believe. He met Victoria originally at a wedding, and why couldn't she be Rachel Bilson's roommmate?
She's my favorite and I'm going to just hope it's her so I can enjoy it.
(and LOL to PP, I totally had a woo girl moment too when she showed up on screen. Along with the song "Victooooria" I was jumping up and down excited. I have been saying for YEARS she needs to come back!!)
Heck - who knows if the writers have even truly decided who it's going to be? Until they set a date for a series finale I don't think they'll truly be ready to wrap it all up.
