It's dark and rainy today. So dark, in fact, that I looked up the date for daylight savings time, and am incredibly bummed that we've got another month and a half of driving to work in the dark.

J is on leave for the next two weeks. He took Bo Boy with with into town for some boy time. I'm about to go grocery shopping and to Walmart by my self. For me, that is a little slice of Heaven.
If the rain holds off, my oldest has a football game tonight. Fun!
It is dark and rainy here!!! I am working on report from a conference I attended in May. Just found out on Friday that I have to do recap on that conference. It would be fine, if I could read my notes I took back in May. Oh not to mention, I have the bad case of the "Day dreams" today!

Good Morning! I've been up and on a walk with N and our friend A. Got some happy news that the doctor told N last night that C's seizures are a result of her fainting and that this is very common and something that she will grow out of. The fainting is due to something she isn't used to happening when she falls or trips or something. N also used to do this as a child so that made her feel a lot better.
Today I'm just working, I'll come home and take Simon for a walk in hopes that it helps with reduce the number of in and outs we do tonight. Last night I think we went in and out about 20 times. It doesn't help that there is a little bird coming and landing on the sprinkler and every time he sees it he wants to go chase it. After that I'll pay some bills and then clean our bedroom. Its a disaster zone and needs some serious help.
Good morning! I also get a case of the sads when I wake up and it's still dark out.
I'm at work until about 5:20, then I'll go pick B up from school. She wants chicken for dinner so I think I'll grill some chicken (or maybe fry it, that sounds much better than grilling it today) and make mashed potatoes and asparagus for me and green beans for her. She will have homework to do so we'll do that and then I'm hoping to either vacuum or mop floors. I also had to put the bedding in the wash before I left this morning since Zoe peed on the bed, so I'll be finishing that laundry and re-making the bed as well.

It's not even noon and I'm in a bad mood. H's leave date to come home keeps getting pushed back and people are irritating me nonstop.
Hopefully the day will get better.

I filled my cooler with ice and I'm going to hit the grocery store on my lunch break. By the time I leave here at night, I can't find the motivation to go wander around the store behind people who don't share my sense of urgency.
I should also get myself a pumpkin spice latte as a reward for not dragging my husband to the commissary with me!
Here's to a better day for you. People are irritating me nonstop today as well. I might toss the phone out of the window if they don't watch it.
By they way...I love the picture you added. I swear that could be my two dogs!!! It makes me laugh every time I see it!
She's getting old and she will pee and not even know she does it. And then I stick my foot in it when I stretch....which is always fun. We had some meds to give her for incontenience, but we ran out and A didn't get it refilled before he left. We'd have to take her to the vet to get it refilled and I can't get her there all on my own so it'll have to wait until A gets home in a couple weeks.

Suppose to be a busy day at work; waiting on feedback/changes from the VP to arrive so I can do those. Project is due to the printer tomorrow and I'd really like to not put in another 2 hrs. of overtime like I did yesterday. I've already got loads more projects lining up and clamoring to be done first. It'll probably be this insane until after the holidays and that just makes me feel tired.
That pumpkin spice latte is sounding good right about now. Especially since the stomach wasn't having any coffee this morning.
Debating on whether or not I can convince DH to take a day trip down to Hatteras on Saturday to see the lighthouse before it closes for the season. The weather is suppose to be very pleasant and I fully intend to take advantage.
Towards the very end of deployments I always get a little touchy, but lately people just piiss me off non.stop. It doesn't help that they moved H and communication is like none. It's a lot more than just that going on though. Someone who used to be a friend needs to grow up and possibly get punched in the throat.
I sound like a baby, but I'm just so ready to have H home. This deployment was 100x harder than the last.
ETA: Oh and the picture makes me laugh to because I've come home to that a couple times, but with Bentley obviously.
Arg! I hate for you both on the communcations and the friend part.
One of my very best friends actually punched a guy in the throat one night. He was being out of line and she told him if he did't stop then she as going to punch him in his throat. Well he didn't and she did. If you need her let me know. I am sure she would be happy to lend her services.
We are just in the beginning and I am so over it. I have been a pitty party for one for the last couple of weeks. I am on a very short fuse...one day I said to myself "God help the person that piisses me off today."

HAA- there are zero dog beds in our house since they can not seem to get it together and not tear them up. The only toy they can have are nylabones and the black kong (the one for heavy chewers).
I just got home from my second spinning class. I'm still not sure if I'm sold on them yet but I will probably give it one last chance to wow me on Thursday.
I need to do housework but I just want to nap.
I'm making a new recipe (chicken taco chili) in the crock pot so I'm excited to see how that's going to turn out.
Bahaha! I would take her up on that right about now. I've been civil and keep getting ridiculous messages. Finally blocked. The crappy part is she's made this such a ridiculous thing that her boyfriend (who works with my H) has gotten into it (and honestly I don't know why) It's one big clusterfvck.
Bentley is now crated when we're not home because we have gone through a few rugs and had to replace the carpet in one of our old apartments.
I just got back from an event [that my old office on campus sponsored...even though I've been out of that office for 1.5 years, it's still a little awkward to be around former co-workers] and am answering e-mails and shredding old documents until lunch. DS has some weird rash on his arm, so we're headed to the doctor today to get it checked out. I'm hoping it's not ringworm.
We'll probably head to Wal-Mart after to pick up some stuff. I have a filling on Thursday [joy], so I need to pick up soft foods since I probably won't be on solids for a few days. Blah.
I'm just working today which is a bummer. My boss was gone all day yesterday so it was nice and quiet. Other than that I might meet up with my future cousin-in-law so she can teach me how to salsa (she's a dance instructor). It's a pretty quiet Tuesday around here.
I am annoyed with how hot it is around here though. I don't like heat so I'm very much over this hot weather.

The Dogs and Us
Good afternoon!
It's also rainy and dreary here. So far today I've gone to the craft store and fabric store. I'm going to attempt to make a yarn wreath that Afton posted about the other day and Sophia's Halloween costume so I went and got the supplies I needed. Tonight we have to go to a pre-Baptism class at our church (snoozeville).
Its a little gray and foggy over here. I wish it would rain though.
I need to go get started on laundry in a bit. I also need to figure out what I want to make for dinner tonight.
Last night DH and I went to Sprint and Best Buy to look at the phones. My cell phone is sucking asss big time. Unfortunately, I don't qualify for an upgrade right now and I refuse to pay full price on a phone. So to cheer me up we had Chipotle for dinner and Starbucks for dessert. That pumpkin spice frappuccino is amazing!
Not a whole lot going on around here. I finally got us unpacked from our trip....now that we've been home an entire week. and the house is fairly decent looking.
During DH's lunch break we'll be meeting a puppy who we are considering adopting. I am excited, but also apprehensive. I've never had a dog before (DH has but I haven't) so it will be a learning curve for me. But we've been talking about it for a long time and feel like our home and family are ready for it. Here's hoping she's a good fit for us!!
Afternoon!
I just got home from work. I'm annoyed. I thought I had updated all the bill payment info from when my card was compromised, but apparently I did not. Just realized this today and had to pay a late fee. Uuuuugh.
Also, I'm annoyed because for the past month my sister has promised to go to a concert with me tonight. I mention it today and she backs out of it saying she's broke. This is the second time this has happened for a concert I really really want to go to. How lame would it be to go alone?
