I thought it was an okay episode. Not as great as season 1, but better than most episodes in season 2.

yeah I read they are going more broadway/musical theater this year, which I don't enjoy as much.
I didn't watch the Glee project this summer, but were any of the winners in the premiere?

From what I saw, the two winners weren't in the premiere, but the girl finalist (can't remember her name) was in the premiere. The one who was all about perfection...

They didn't make him a regular so he left the show. I think he has a short gig on Parenthood or Modern Family this season.
It was an okay episode. Was anyone else bothered by how Quinn talked? It was like she was trying to use an accent or something, it sounded weird. I have to say though, with the exception of the hair, I much prefer this clothing to the Modern-Little-House-On-The-Prairie fug stuff she was wearing last season.
Favorite line of the night was by Becky, of course. It's usually a tie between her and Brittany.
"What about toast? Bread's already baked. I don't get why you have to cook it again." You could see Jane Lynch trying not to start laughing at it.
ETA: And the glitter bomb thing was just stupid. Complete waste of time.
I was a little disappointed.... I did like Becky's thing about toast though.

From what I can remember...
Finn dumped Quinn, started dating Rachel.
Quinn was going to sabotage glee club but, I don't know, got her hair cut instead and all was well.
Jesse tried to get Rachel back by being a coach to the club, went to Nationals with them.
Will was going to join April Rhodes on Broadway and shirked his coaching duties at Nationals in NYC.
Brittany wrote a song about a cup and then they wrote original songs for Nationals hours before they were supposed to perform.
Finn kissed Rachel on stage at Nationals.
They came in 12th. BooHoo. BooHoo.
Finn and Rachel probably stared deep into each other's eyes at some point and declared they'd love each other forever... or until someone hotter/more sensitive comes along.

I liked it. I thought the musical numbers were good and the storyline didn't totally suck like some of the episodes last season. Hopefully they can build off of this and get some momentum to have a stronger season this year.
This! Only because I don't follow any broadway or musical theatre at all. I much prefer when they sing top 40 or got old classics
The way she talked was just strange. I like the pink hair, but everything else is screaming "I'm angsty! PAY ATTENTION TO ME! MY LIFE IS HARD!" Whatever, Quinn. You made your bed.
I love the closeness between Rachael & Kurt. I'm also glad that Blaine came to McKinley. I love him. I wish Fox would man up & just let Kurt & Blaine kiss. I feel like so many of their scenes are awkward because they can't fully portray them like a normal couple.
& that's total BS that Santana took the blame for Quinn's cigarette lighting the piano on fire.
You didn't see the Cheerios soaking it in a liquid? They danced around it, squeezing bottles of stuff onto it. It wouldn't have burst into flames if Santana hadn't organized all that.
It was an OK episode. I had total WTF-face from the Quinn storyline though. What kind of crack are the writers smoking? Not good guys, not good. I LOLed when she said her little group of misfits had a name. What is this, middle school? No self-respecting group of badasses is going to have a NAME. Or are we going to be given the Grease version of high school this season?
I don't like Emma and Will together. They give me the heebie-jeebies. And Emma needs her old hair color back.
But, Blaine. Le sigh. And I enjoy musical theater, so I'm happy with the song selections.
Blaine was the saving grace of this episode. I love him.
Not thrilled with this whole Quinn storyline. And was I the only one that gave the writers a side-eye for the girl with Asperger's? I thought that was sort of...I don't know if offensive was the right word, but I didn't care for it.

Ahh. I completely missed that part.
Yeah I totally missed that part. I saw the liquid as Quinn's cigarette hit the piano, but wasn't sure where it came from. I was too busy swooning over Blaine.
This. I've been a die hard Gleek from the get-go, but I am finding myself more and more uninterested in what's going on. The episode was ok. Not great, but better than most from last year.

They kissed once, and it was a big moment (and I did love it). But they haven't kissed on screen since. Not even a peck on the cheek. I want on screen kisses!
I loved this episode, I am a huge fan of Kurt with Blaine and Kurt with Rachel so this episode was great for me
