AW Thursday!

I don't know if I told you guys but, as you know, we're going back to WDW in November just in time for my birthday.  I discovered a few weeks ago when I was looking at the website for the conference that they're going to have a Harry Potter night at Universal.  They're shutting down the whole park and it will just be the people at the conference!!!!  So excited!

Re: AW Thursday!

  • Wow that sounds awesome! Congrats!

DH went out with some of his guy friends for guy's night so my sister and I went shopping. I bought some cute boots and crashed early..Why am I still tired?

  • Deepthi - I went to bed at 9:30 and I am still tired too!

I am just excited it's Thursday and Grey's starts tonight.

  • I have no AW today.  We're going to my parents' this weekend, and I'm pretty excited... Fall is just more fun at their house.  Also, it's James' birthday, and my brother's birthday weekend, so that means special birthday meals and cake :)

Okay, this is a teensy AW, but I'm feeling really good right now about work, and how things are going for our next deadline.  I have never been in the middle of a fall busy season and felt this good about everything, and on top of my assignments.  I love the feeling, but it also makes me a tad bit nervous.  Either way though, I really really like my job and am so glad I made this change! Smile

  • I'm so excited that my crochet class starts tonight!

Also, I got 6 uninterupted hours of sleep last night- AND the night before. So nice.

  • Closing down the park for a Harry Potter night!  That's awesome.

Well... ok. I think it's interesting HER mom is managing "the couple"

  • imagebsn1752:

You should search for their interview they did with Lara Spencer (I think that's who was doing the interview).  They made fun of her because she seriously looked like she was about to attack him.

I just don't understand. I mean, even the 29 year-old on Most Eligible Dallas who dates 50 year-old men because that's who she's attracted to. NMS.

  • Oh, I've seen the interview.  It's creepy as crap.  Like she's going to eat him.
  • I was in bed by 9:30 too and I feel like a zombie.  Brainzzzzzz.

We all feel asleep at the same time and we're still tired.. Sounds like the start of a M. Night Shyamalan movie.

  • I'm with y'all on the tired front. These last two weeks have just completely kicked my butt. I just set a transfer process to run on the computer, and as soon as I can convince Dorothy that she's tired enough for a nap, I'm hittin' the sack. I figure I'll be working 'til midnight tonight, so that makes up for it.

  • Yay!: I realized when watching TBL premiere the other night that I weighed 53 pounds less than when I watched TBL premiere in January.

Boo!: I found out yesterday that if we get to the point where we have to see an RE, the RE I have always assumed we would see (helped three friend couples have babies) won't see me until I weigh 35 pounds less than now. So, it's now Every Damn Day for real.

Yay Disney! Boo tiredness! Double Yay Harry Potter! Yay birthday meals and cake!

  • What's an RE?  I finished Unbroken last night.  Wow, what a book.

I don't believe that woman is 17 for one second--she's at least 30, probably over.

One week until Vegas.  That's all I got.

    Reproductive Endocrinologist?

  • I am having a really hard time getting into unbroken, I mean I am reading it and its good but I have no problem putting it down each night to go to sleep.

My AW: Yesterday I ran 3 miles at a speed faster than normal and I hated the majority of it but I kept telling myself I could do it and pain is temporary.  I felt so great afterward I want to do it again tonight.

This. A fertility doctor. The step after the OB/GYN.

  • Julie, that is so cool!!  I'm jealous.

Leslie, congratulations!  That is an amazing accomplishment!

    Brianna, those people are crazy!

I got nothing really...I'm excited for Grey's tonight too. :)

  • I'm new here but thought maybe I'd give this a go.

I got a spray tan done last night (my friend does them at her house) and it looks WAY better than the first time she did it!  I'm pretty excited I can no longer be accused of being Casper's cousin - at least for a week or so :)

I get to start Rosetta Stone for free thanks to my school district!

The weather is awesome except I wore a skirt - not a good idea with the wind.  Fire drill + outside school + skirt =  narrowly avoided wardrobe malfunction

I can't laugh right now because I don't want them to think I'm doing something fun but that's pretty funny!!!!!

  • Yay for Disney, and double yay for Harry Potter.  That sounds like a blast!

As for the teenager who looks 30 and married a 50year old.  It is all creepy.  She is creepy, he is creepy, and all of their interviews are super creepy.

I'm exhausted too, but I didn't get to bed until 11 and then I dreamed of dog training all night.  FYI - we went to our first dog training class last night, and I think it was information overload to late in the evening.

Leslie - Awesome job on the weight loss, I'm so impressed with you and what you have done.  I do want to say one thing to you about the baby. I know you REALLY want one now, and are so excited about it.  But relax and have fun with it.  After a year then start to think about an RE, but please don't stress about going to one now, or how much weight you need to lose to see them, etc.  Make it fun for now and don't think about options for another 6 months.

My husband's cousin just started a mobile spray tan business. I love the way it looks! Just not after a week. I wish it wasnt $25 a pop so I could keep it up

  • I am curious as to your thoughts on the flu shot, do you usually get one?

I have always gotten them since my companies have offered them at no charge.  This year even though its free I am thinking about not getting it.  I have made a huge change in what chemicals and medications I put in my body and I am curious to see how I do this year without it.  This also goes along with me wanting to get off of BC but the consequences of that not working are far worse than getting the flu from no flu shot.

I have never received one and I don't think I've ever had the flu *knock on wood*  Before me, DH got one every year and then he just stopped getting them for some reason.  He's never had a problem either.

I have never gotten one. I want to tell you about how many times I have had the flu but I don't want to say it and then have the universe serve me up some tempted fate, so just know it rhymes with hero. Big Smile I too am shaky about things like that regarding chemicals and meds.

Michelle - I do really wish it was as easy as just relaxing. I would love to not worry about it but my thought is that it will take me at least 4.5 months to lose the 35 pounds needed (at 2 lbs/wk), it will likely take longer than that just due to my body hating the calories needed for 2 lbs per week. I would be kicking myself if I had found this out at the RE consult and had to lose another 20-30 pounds to get treatment. I recently sat at the exact same weight for two months until I found the combination of exercise/food that would restart the weight loss, so knowing that 35 pounds must be lost really gives me focus.

  • I use to get the flu shot all the time.  I worked in a daycare and it just made sense.  I got the flu every year.  I stopped getting the flu shot.  I still got the flu.  The only difference I can see if that when I got the flu shot the flu wasn't nearly as bad for me as the years I didn't get it.  It's been recommended that I get the flu shot this year because I'm pregnant and getting the flu is really bad.  DH doesn't really want me too but knowing that the chances of me getting the flu either way and I can reduce the severity of the flu with the flu shot I think I'm going to get it.  Still debating though.

  • Leslie, your dedication and weight loss is awe-inspiring.  Seriously.  I love when people I know lose weight by making themselves healthier and making changes that they can live with forever.  It really inspires me to do the same.  So, thank you for being awesome :)

Wow. Thanks. I think you are awesome too! It's really funny though, I was telling DH the other night that I am so inspired by people who lose large amounts of weight and he looked at me and said "Umm, hello?" I think it's probably because I know I could lose another 40-45 and still be in a healthy weight range, so maybe I won't consider myself awesome until it's over?
