Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Harry Potter fans. . .
Are any of you on Pottermore yet? It's pretty fantastic! There are a bunch of "treasures" to unlock as you go through each of the books where J.K. Rowling gives you lots of fun trivia about inspiration, realizations, etc. It's so cool to see that part of the writing process that usually never makes it to fans. Also, if any of your kids/step kids are HP fans, I think it's a great discovery site. My friend who is a children's librarian told me to check it out.

I couldn't ever get on to sign up way back when! I soon as it's open to everyone I'll sign up and find you.
Mandah, I keep hearing that the site opens to everyone on October 1. You can't get on until then unless you signed up early and got a special email.
Yup, the site officially opens in October - they opened the beta site to some people - they had daily challenges for a week (how I got an invite) and also special invitations. I'll let you girls know when it has opened!!!
I'm only in Chapter 2 of Book 1 so far, so I don't even have a wand or a house in Hogwarts yet. . .
