Re: Poll: How financially divided is your marriage?
This. As a SAHM, I don't have any income but this was the case before kids as well. In fact, we had joint everything before we were even married.
We have a joint account that is our "main" account ~ pretty much all bills and everything else comes out of that.
I have my own account that I use mainly for depositing money for Charlotte's school, and money I make working for my mom and doing my organizing business (well, it WILL be when I pick that back up again).
DH does not have his own account.
