I love those C names too, but our last name starts with a K, so they wouldn't work. I also liked the name Quinn, but his name would sound like it was pronounced by Elmer Fudd.

18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

in spanish: Sebastian, Santiago,Santos, Julian, Lorenzo, Enrique, Andres, Tomas, Nicolas, Jairo, Joaquin,
other names i like: John,Joseph, Benjamin
My husband is Norwegian and our last name is very ethnic in that regard.
Suzi- YES! Everett is a name I have always loved but with Truitt, we decided that would just be too many Ts (our last name starts with T too) and threw it out.
Are you finding out what you are having or waiting until the big day??
Oliver was our #1 boy name when we had Addie.
I love the name August like the rest of you.
I love Irish names like Malachy or Seamus but DH isn't into it. I have no idea if we'll find something to agree on if the next kid is a boy (or a girl for that matter!).
Ours would be some combination of the following names: Jon (after my dad, but without the h) , Tiago, Mateo, Elliot, Oliver
So the combinations could be:
Jon Mateo
Tiago Elliot
Tiago Oliver
Mateo Elliot
Jon Tiago
Wow, with all these names, the two I liked best (which did not actually include the one we had picked had Tracey been a boy) are not in this post. Well, other than Thor
Glad to know you're not taking my Norwegian names then
I like Soren, but the two "ra" sounds close to each other when you put it with our last name is too much of a mouthful.
Yeah... you don't have one of those names that your parents might regret giving you when you are an adult.
My first name does not suit me at all. It's not a bad name and a fellow nestie fits the name well - she is also brunette whereas most of my life I was blonde (I'm sort of dark/dirty blonde or light brown now). Blonde, big bewbs, and a name that ends with a Y/ie/i = being treated like a bimbo (at least was my experience).
I like versatile names that a kid can formalize when he/she is older if they want, or go by a nick name. So they don't have to go by their middle name and spend a lifetime asking to have something else printed on their badge/biz card/name card/registry/etc.

THANK YOU!!!
this bugs the daylights out of me!! youngest nephew's name is gabriel, yet sil insists that we all call him "gabe". i still don't understand it. why not name him gabe in the first place??
As someone who named her kid to be able to have a nickname...I wanted her to have a professional type name and a nickname, she can choose what to go by if she wants later. We actually call her both Addie and Addison interchangeably.
It always bothered me growing up that I didn't have a nickname (other then anything that rhymes with Clare and btw, there's something for almost every letter of the alphabet and those usually weren't nice). It seems like most people who have a name that could be shortened are not fans of nicknames and vice versa. (of people I know in real life anyway)
totally agree with you and i completely understand. sil is very strange about this. she refuses to call him gabriel, only gabe. there are nicknames on top of this. it was very interesting to sing happy birthday at his first birthday party. no one knew what to call him.
and those who have heard my story about mil putting "eee" sounds on the end of names does not help this poor kid. at his 3rd b-day he was asked his name and proudly introduced himself as "gabeee!"
No, but my maiden name was Bull so I'll let you do the math on that one... ;-)
In case you're not aware, there's a brand of hot dog called Nathan's Franks.

1. I liked Trevor, Trent and Phillip.
2. Joseph is DH's MN, so we went with that. He is NOT Joe. It bugs the *** out of me when people call him Joe unless we are trying to get him to say "I'm J-O-E to the P YO" ala Kid Rock's song where Joe C sings I'm J-O-E to the C HO".
3. I am going to threaten to shank Mr. Kimmer because he is forever shortening Joseph to Joe OR I am going to sing Benny and the Jets every time he does it. Not sure which will be more fun.
So Tasty, So Yummy
We are finding out on 10/10. My doc is a stickler for not doing the big u/s before 20-22 weeks and I'll be 22 weeks and some change at my next appt. I love my doc, but am really jealous of all the girls on here and friend IRL whose docs do it sooner.
If our 3rd is a boy he will likely be Wesley Cole. Cole is a family name but when it got so popular we decided to move int to a middle name.
As for names and nicknames, sometimes it just happens. I named Abby will full intentions of calling her Abigail. It's even hanging in her room. She ended up being so tiny though that it was just too much name for her if that makes since. Last night we were talking to the girls about our full names and when we tell her that her name is Abigail she corrects us and calls herself Abby.
On the flip side sometimes Reagan calls herself Reagan-gail..............
Crazy Christmas Kids!
My grandfather's name was Ray. Everyone assumed it was Raymond. My middle name is Raye, because apparently putting an "e" on the end makes it feminine.
