i watched last night's episode and thought it was pretty funny
the new lily (from what i saw during the opening intro.) isn't that cute

I really enjoyed it at first, but got tired of all of the "wacky misunderstanding" storylines. I think it could be a smarter show, especially with that cast.
I do like Gloria though.

I love this show!
It's definitely a new Lily. I don't think I'm a fan of hers but it may just be because they seem to have made her character kind of a brat.
I read an article that the old Lily's mom said her daughters didn't enjoy acting and pulled them from the show.
I love Modern Family.
It is a hilarious, well written and well cast show.

Every time I think I have picked a favorite, something happens the following week for someone else to become the MVP. I love them all and laugh my butt off every week.

It's the only sitcom we watch. SO funny! Ditto Phil being the best character, but I also love seeing Ed O'Neil in such a smart role.
Lily is new. The twins who played her didn't enjoy being on the show, so their mom pulled them. I think that's awesome, considering how often you see stage moms force their kids to be "stars".
This is me too. We have to rewind it because I am laughing and I don't hear something which usually turns out to be even funnier than what I was initially laughing at.
My favorite episode was the Family Picture episode. Claire wanted the whole family to wear ALL white and have it be the "perfect" family photo. They were all in the backyard, and Claire was being, well, Claire, and I forget who exactly (Gloria) got so annoyed with her that they threw mud on her. The sprinklers went on and everyone had a mud fight-that was the photo shoot-all covered in mud. I cried and laughed. It was the best.
That was a GREAT episode
