Re: Girl Names
I love the name Clara and Clair (Clare). Like you know Clare is Olivia's middle name from my grandmother Clara. We would have went with Clara but it didn't go with Olivia - Clare went better.
The next girl name I love is Molly. I love that name.
Other names we considered:
Whitney Ann
Emerson Laine
Emery Jane
Emmeline Reese
I really like the name Clara right now.
DD didn't have a name until 12 hours after she was born. We just couldn't decide.
Other names: Margaret (Maggie), Jacqueline, Shannon, Renee, Shea/Shay, Taylor, Scarlett, Kinley
We have picked Leighton. It's his grandmothers maiden name.
Names I have loved over the years: Sophia (Sophie), Catherine (Cate), Abbigail (Abbie), Alexandra, Samantha.
I love Claire or Clara with your DS's name.
Our list was: Georgia, Katherine (both used for DD), Eliza, Caroline (will likely be used for a next DD), Maggie or Molly.
These are the names we have always tossed around (you know if we ever decide to have kids)
Claire Olivia
Claire Elaine
Cecilia Claire
Eleanor Olivia
I like the name Claire, but there are 4 Claire's in 2nd grade with DD. Not that I'm big on not naming a popular name (I have an Abigail - Abbie), but just fyi it's very popular.
I LOVE Clara. A friend has a Clara Lorraine and I think it's so cute.
If DS was a girl he would have been Lillian after DH's gradmother. Middle name Marie (same as mine) or Lorraine (my great Aunt).
I love the names Charlotte, Savannah, Isabella, Anastasia.

When I was in college the little girl I nannied for was named Cicely. Darling girl, pretty name, fairly easy to spell/pronounce (though people say Cecily a lot) yet it's not at all common. I love it, DH not so much so I doubt I'd ever get to use it.
I'm almost halfway sure that if Cooper had been a girl we would have been undecided even at the hospital. We couldn't agree. For us, a middle name would be Catherine (family name) but we never agreed on first names.
I like Grace (can't do it with our last name)
Also, Sophia and Olivia were my two front runners. Although I'm loving Audrey.
If we have a girl, chances are about 95% she'll be Cora. All the women in my line have names that end in "a." My great-grandmothers were Eliza and Emma. My grandmother was Anna and my mother is Paula and my aunt is Lisa. I am Viula. I always thought I would name my daughter (if I had one) Emma or Anna, but both names are far too popular for my taste now.
My other fave girl name (and what one of DSs would have been named because I was stuck on it then) is Laurel.
Emmersyn (emma, emmy)
Coppelia (I like the KSBJ morning show hosts first name..it's got a ring to it)
Kelleigh (if I ever had a girl I was going to spell it like this!)
Emmaleigh
Sarah Leigh (ok just kidding... at least it wasnt Brock Lee)
Elizabeth Jayne
I recently met a mom at R's school named Cora and I keep thinking how much I love that name! All the women in my family also have names that end in "a". So if we did have another girl I would also want a name that ends in "a".
My BFF is naming her second DD Claire and I'm so excited to call her Claire-bear!
The runner's up to Helen were Evelyn, Vivian, Eliana, Monica, Audrey, and Cecilia (Helen's middle name).
A variation - I know the cutest little girl named Camila! Cami for short. Seriously, cutest little thing.
Since I won't be using any of these ever
Anastasia Marie
Maxine Evangeline
Evangeline Simone
I love the names Cora and Laurel!!
I love Evangeline.
Greenlee is a favorite of mine.
So Tasty, So Yummy
Collette
Colleen
Charlotte
Margot
I think it's cute, but all I can think of is "All my Children."
