50mm f/1.8D AF lens -- question for photography people
I am lusting after this lens! However, I have the Nikon D40, which cannot
autofocus with it. Would you still get it? Upgrading to a new
camera is not an option right now.

i had convinced my friend who started with a nikon d40 to get this lens...prior to me knowing about it not being able to autofocus... and she still do this day does not will not buy another prime lens LOL
i bet Jax could make some other nikon related suggestions.
