QOTD - Friday

Re: QOTD - Friday

  • Spiders are my biggest phobia, but crickets and stink bugs are close contenders.

My weird phobia is seeing red lights in the dark. Oddly, traffic lights don't bother me. But lights on cell phone towers, red alarm clocks lights, and the creepy eye lights on the skeleton at the Meadows Farms nursery off Rt 7 in Leesburg...not cool. Apparently I used to point to the red light on the smoke detector and cry even before I could talk, so my parents had to cover the lights with stickers!

Mine biggest one is bugs. I really, really hate them and I totally freak out if one touches me or if I can't easily get away from one. I also won't get close enough to most large bugs to kill them like a normal person. If I can't find bug spray, I've been known to drop a large phone book on top of the bug and leave it until DH gets home to dispose of it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who leaves bugs for DH!! I've been known to throw a bowl over a stink bug and wait for DH to get home. :)
