Wha?! No! I didn't even know he was sick... Wikipedia says he had cancer in his pancreas!

He's been battling cancer. His death was prematurely reported within the last week or so. He was obviously very sick.
How sad that such a creative man had his body give to one of the most common health issues.
I just read an article about how a commercial from 1987 that Macintosh predicted an eerily close prediction to the touch screen and voice activation that the newest iPhone is supposed to have. It was all brought to life thanks to his work.

well he beat my guess by a longshot, which was within 48 hours of resigining as chairman of Apple.
Then again, with pancreatic cancer, he must have beat lots of people's guesses.
I'm not sure to which man I owe more hours of enjoyment in my life, him or Matt Groening.
I remember he had cancer, but I didn't realize it was that long of a fight (8 years). Poor man.
