Re: Hello?? Weds. post
Morning! Had a very nice birthday yesterday, capped off with a nice dinner out with H.
Had a belly check this morning, and got my first ever flu shot. Confirmed with them that I can definitely go on (disability) leave for no other reason than pregnancy as of 36 weeks, so my plan of my last day at 36+ is a go. Yay! Scheduled my appointments up through about week 38. Holy crap, this is getting real!
How did the cake turn out???
P.s. YOU'RE HAVING A BABY!!!!!
I seriously can not believe how fast it's gone by!
And I know! I can't believe how close it all is now. Our glider is being delivered today, and we got the ottoman last week. I convinced H last night to give cloth diapering a try, so I ordered another 10 today. Yikes!
My older sister swears by them as does my mom. I want to get them bc of all the cute designs they've come out with for them. haha GL with it though!
I'm excited to try it! The ones we're getting are the BumGenius Elementals, an all-in-one cloth diaper. They do have some with fancy designs, but they're several dollars more each, and these are already $25.
But they have a sale on seconds right now, for $17/ea, so I ordered 10.
The bummer is that no daycare around here will use them, so we'll still have to buy some disposables for daycare. But we will do less diaper laundry that way, so whatevs.
EEEEE! I haven't wanted to bring up the whole cloth diapering crap here b/c I didn't think anyone else was into being "green" and the health benefits and such. I desperately want some IRL opinions and all that crap to go on whenever we actually do TTC and get KU.
So, if anyone does, know I will be asking some questions of you when the time comes!
I have worked in many of daycares and never have had to use them. I actually didn't realized they were even popular/in use till coming to TK/N/B. This is probably why i have not desire to use them.
