So yesterday when I went in for my 36 week check-up we found out that the baby's head and length have grown correctly, but her stomach size has not increased at all in the past month. This could be an indicator of Asymmetrical intra-uterine growth retardation and we are going to get a doppler ultrasound today to find out if she is getting enough oxygen.
I'd really appreciate any vibes you can spare in the hopes that either she is getting plenty of oxygen or that there is a simple solution such as a planned c-section or induction. I know she is going to be fine either way, but I'm still worried. :S
((UPDATE))
Posted this later on before I realized I could edit it into this post:
Thanks so much everyone! I really appreciate it. It turns out that the ultrasound yesterday was just wonky as someone (don't remember who) put it. She is measuring perfectly fine, maybe a little on the thin side but absolutely nothing to worry about. Most importantly oxygen and blood flow are exactly as they should be.Thank you all for keeping us in your thoughts. We were a little worried there and were so relieved to find out everything is good for her to cook a few more weeks.
