Is the vanity sizing at Old Navy even worse than normal? I went to try some tops on, and they were hanging off of me like potato sacks. Even a size down they were just shapeless blobs. I have not lost weight/inches.
Maybe it's a design issue. I mean, I know it's not top quality merchandise, but some tailoring would be nice.
This is my siggy.
Re: Is it just me, or...
It's pretty bad. Their jeans were okay the last time I bought them, but the tops are always huge.
It's a bummer because I usually like their clothes, and since I work at home, I try not to spend a ton of money on clothing, so ON is a good choice for a few new things each season. BOO!
I bought a shiiton of medium tees last summer and they were all HUGE on me. Shiit, my tits alone put me squarely in medium territory. I wondered whatthefuck people like abs are supposed to wear when a medium doesn't fit a size 8.

I don't think so - I know Gap owns BR and ON. Definitely not JCrew or Loft.
I think the national chains all vanity size these days though, but it varies on the item for many of the other stores (at least, for me). I can buy a large and a small from the exact same store.
While that may be true, you have hair I would die for, so it kind of evens out, right?
I stopped shopping there because no two items fit the same and they stretch out badly. Their stuff also falls apart way too soon, even for cheap clothes. Their men's and kid's stuff seems to be made better than the women's.
They closed our ON about a year ago, so I'm not even tempted to buy anything from there anymore. Only bummer is that DS liked their boxers.
Seriously! This is one of those problems I'm not allowed to complain about, right?
Complain all you want.
And then switch over to cheap clothes from Target.
How is this even possible???!!!!
Right? SO not like me! The mall is far away and I don't really have any friends up here who are into shopping.
There's a Target near me.
Just sayin'.
Either ON runs big or I've lost more weight/am not as large as I thought. I usually buy Medium there while my bewbs are usually more of a Large situation!
I know where TWO Targets are! Do you prefer to drive north or south for your shopping needs?
