Re: Say say say- Anything
I'm annoyed with Gymboree. I bought Cooper a maroon tshirt with white sleeves and now he has a maroon shirt with pink sleeves. I washed according to the directions, but I don't think it would have mattered.
I'm just pissed that the shirt hasn't been worn and is ruined.
It seems like I've heard a lot of complaints about Gymboree clothes lately. I guess I'm glad I never shop there, that sucks. I'd return it.
We've had this problem. I got the cutest white polo with an orange basketball applique. all the inside "trim" was orange. I washed it before he wore it and the whole shirt was then tie died an orangish/yellow. I took it back and they gave me my money back but i was so sad because I LOVED the shirt.
Just got off the phone with the mother of one of DD's friends. She was RSVP'ing for DD's sleepover Friday. Her daughter's birthday party is a sleepover Saturday night and she's just going to pick both girls up from my house Saturday. She told me that she will bring DD home whenever on Sunday or I can pick her up any time, no rush. I told her I would come pick her up after church.
Her response, "Well, I don't get out of bed Sunday mornings for that. I don't care about going to sit and listen to someone tell me I'm a sinner when I already know I am."
Ummm....okay...... so I'll see you at 6 p.m. Friday? O_o
yay! please send her my regards too!
The Wild Kratts (a preschool PBS show) just did a feature on the honey badger.
I probably would have sh!t my pants if the Kratt Brothers had said "honey badger don't care".
Did you have nightmares? Poor Kreeper. I saw a billboard on the way to LA and thought of you. Yeah, it would have terrified you. So wrong of those marketing people to not consider your phobia!
I think both of my DS's have this shirt but we haven't had a problem with it. I am not super happy with the quality of some of the clothes I have bought there though. I always buy them on super clearance though so I usually spend less than $5 per item...often only $2-$3 so I don't worry about it too much. I would be upset if I paid the original price for them though!
Maybe they did consider it & put up the billboard as a strategy to keep her out of their state.
PS - Kreeper it appears Sherry from Young House Love has something against you as well. You're going to want to skip reading today if that's a blog you normally look at.
My DH, Ellarie and I were watching this! I said "honey badge don't care" a couple of times, we couldn't stop laughing. Ellarie was giving us the side eye the whole episode.
I called to follow up on the insurance claim from my accident last week. The police report won't be available until Monday, but the ins company said if the driver accepted liability then we could proceed with the claim and get going on repairs even before we got the police report.
Shockingly, they can't get the 20 year old kid with a drug problem to call them back and make a statement. The person I just talked to said that they talked to his mom (their insured) this morning and she refused to accept liability and said that her son needed to call back.
If I have to call and make a claim with my insurance company I'm going to be PISSED.
yes, a huge shock. And I'm trying really hard not to judge that mother right now.
If you want, you can join me on the judgey bus.
This is so incredibly selfish, but I am really bummed that my BFF is working FT now. This is the first time...oh...ever...that she has had a FT job and it is really interfering in our daily communication!*
*I really am proud of her though and I know it will help them out a lot.
I'm apparently the worlds most vile, horrible, evil person on the face of the earth right now.
My kids are livid that I said they could not do their annual Halloween lock in this year and just need to have a party instead.
I used to be able to give 110% of my time to my kids and now with C I have to give 99.9%. I spend more time with my school kids than I do with her.
Apparently I'm a horrible person for being selfish about ME for once and I'm runing lives.
I will say a few girls have said that their parents totally understood where I am coming from and tried to get the kids to see my side.
Good for you! Stand your ground and don't let them guilt you into it. You need to have time for you!
This. Teenagers are assholes.
yep, this.
Agreeing with all the other posters. I'm glad you're standing firm!
i can see it in your eyes...
