As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

It's my birthday and I am dyyyyyyying
I'm pretty sure I have the plague or one of those barnyard illnesses (bird flu, swine flu, mad cow disease). Or...maybe just allergies. Regardless, I feel awful. ON MY BIRTHDAY. There should be a law against that, or something.
So I had to cancel yesterday's dinner plans, and today's dinner plans. I tried to cancel plans with my mom for tomorrow (I don't want to get Brooklynn sick if I am contagious, at the very least), and at first she said okay, but when I was hanging up the phone she said, "See you tomorrow," so I'm not sure she understood...But I might feel better tomorrow, too. Whatever. I'm too sick to deal with her bullshit right now.
I'm currently on the balcony with the cats. Matchbox has made it her official duty to bring all of the dead leaves into the house and crush them into the carpet. Are they birthday gifts, just for me? Awwww.
