You know that saying about when it rains, it pours. I'm getting drenched.
My mom went to the hospital today. She's been sick for 8 days now and the had a chest x-ray and they found a spot on the lung. She was initially diagnosed tentatively with pneumonia, but after the radiologist looked at it, he said it wasn't pneumonia and she needed to check herself into the hospital.
Sigh. I'm waiting to hear back from her if they're going to admit her or what they think it could be.
Also, this whole ordeal is making me sad for my dad, because when my dad was sick and dying, he had my mom to take care of him. And if my mom is sick, she doesn't have anyone. I mean, she has her children, but we don't live with her and can't be there every day. Plus, I can't imagine going through something like that alone.

I hope it's nothing serious Donny. If there's anything I can do (since I'll probably be SAHMing it very soon), please let me know.
I'm glad they had her go in, if it something more serious they can figure out the treatment regime and get her fixed up quick.
I'm sorry, Donny. You have so much to deal with right now. I hope that your mom is okay and has something easy to treat. I know you will do what you can for her and I'm sure she understands that.
Thanks.
It broke my heart yesterday because she started crying on the phone and that she loves my boys so much and wants to see them grow up. A bit dramatic, but with the crappy hand we were dealt a few years ago with my dad, a potentially realistic outcome.
It's funny you say this because I said the EXACT same thing to my mom. And then DH tried saying it to me when I was upset after talking to her. So, it's a practice what you preach failure.
I'm sorry Donny. Try not to worry, hopefully it's nothing major! I know, that's easier said then done though.
