I have only learned to accept pumpkin in ravioli and one time for a "pumpkin dump cake" but I think it's because the yellow cake mix + nuts ratio was pretty high

I ate pumpkin pie when I was 11 for a month straight, so I have an aversion to it now (same thing happened with Wegmans blueberry pie when I was 13), but i'll eat pumpkin cheesecake until the end of time.

, unless it was my grandma's that had coconut in it - sounds odd but it was really good. I would go for just about any pie over plain pumpkin. Now pumpkin roll with cream cheese frosting is another story, but frosting makes everything better.

I'm not a fan of pumpkin pie (a texture thing), but I love pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, etc.

If it is really, REALLY good (and warm, don't like the cold stuff) then yes. But it's like ultra bitter chocolate. Really good, but only in small doses and only on rare occasions.

Hmmm - maybe I don't like afterall. Maybe it's just the nostalgia!

I'm tempted to make one this weekend, assuming we get through all of DD's birthday cake before the grandparents go home. I found the display of canned pumpkin at the grocery store the other day (why they hid it in the freezer section is beyond me), so I'm all about cooking with pumpkin.

I love pumpkin everything else though, sweet and savory. I usually forget I don't like pumpkin pie until after I start eating it, and then I think, "Why am I eating this?"

I'm Ehhh on it. I'll eat it if nothing else is available, but I don't ever seek it out. I don't really like pie in general, I prefer cobblers and crisps.

I add spiced rum to mine. DH and my ILs shuffle it around on their plates at Thanksgiving, but it's essential in my family.

I'll eat just about anything with pumpkin. Pumpkin roll is one of my favorites! But pumpkin pie is much easier.

to anything pumpkin. Particularly to pie. But it's great in savory things too - I made pumpkin ricotta stuffed shells recently, and they were fantastic.
